The first time my wife visited Shady Glen was about 25 years ago. She finally got me in the door fotlrvthe first time a day ago. I've been going here with my family since I was a kid. Incredible food and great service. I know people that travel from out of state to go there for their cheeseburgers! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is always great. And save room for ice cream!

Manchester is my home town but I live 2000 miles away, but e when I return home I try to hit Shady Glen. SG is renown for its cheeseburgers and ice cream. Those are completely great choices, for sure, but I go down-menu for a scallop platter or whole belly clams. I get their fries and Cole slaw whenever I can.
