“I’ve been here countless times and the food is consistently very good. The servers are always friendly too. Tonight I sat at the bar after a class and ordered grinders for takeout. Absolutely THE best grinders we’ve had in forever. My veggie and cheese grinder was LOADED with veggies! My husband’s grinder had so much nest he could have created 2 more grinders. Thank you Soula and staff. You are all top notch!”

“Vernon Coffee Roasters is a welcome addition to Vernon. If you haven't tried their coffee yet, give it a try! The flavor is superb! They offer a poor over which is a must try. Absolutely amazing! Along with excellent coffee is the friendliest owner and staff you could meet.”

D’Angelo’s in Vernon, CT. just made one of the worst menu decisions I’ve ever seen. The Rice & Grain Bowls — the items that actually made you different from every other sandwich shop — are gone. The Southwest and Korean BBQ bowls were incredible, and the matching sandwiches were just as good. Now all of them have been removed. We already have plenty of sub shops. What made D’Angelo’s special was the bowls. Without them, you’re just another sandwich place in a sea of sandwich places.
I used to give you five stars. Now it’s one.
Bring back the Rice & Grain Bowls — this “menu experiment” is a huge mistake.”

“Long Gut Miss Pinny is such a hidden gem in Manchester. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service was even better. Everything tasted super fresh and homemade. It’s run by a mother and daughter, and you can really tell how much care goes into the food. The mac and cheese was so good, the Jamaican patties were perfectly flaky, and the pepper shrimp had the perfect amount of spice. The chicken soup with pumpkin was comforting and flavorful, and the oxtail and curry chicken were absolutely delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll be going back to. Highly recommend checking it out.”

“The service is incredible, Madison helped me understand all the allergies and recommended some cookies for me to try, while doing all of this it looked like she was alone but didn't rush me and let me take the time I needed. After I ordered and she went to get my cookies it looked like she was doing everything behind the counter at once and it looked fantastic. Will come back again”

For many of us, this was our first time dining at a Korean BBQ restaurant, and our server, Tian, went above and beyond to make it memorable. He warmly interacted with everyone at the table, guided us through the ordering process, and even prepared several dishes right at our table, allowing us to try a wide variety of options. The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, leaving everyone fully satisfied. “I love supporting local small businesses! This place does not disappoint. They are super friendly and always ready to answer any questions. I have tried many different things and I am always very pleased. Yesterday I picked up some of their strawberry jelly and it tastes just like my mom's used to. 💜 Its the first one I've been able to find and putting it on their bread made either even better! I also picked up the Hungarian mushroom soup. It was so tasty and full of mushrooms! If you haven't tried this spot definitely put it on your list! You won't be disappointed 🥰”

“Yellow curry and crab rangoons were absolutely delicious! Had enough curry for 2 meals, too. I got pad Thai mild spicy for my husband and it was okay. It was a little dry and not spicy enough, so if you want it spicy order your food hotter than mild spice! Will definitely be back for the curry and crab rangoons, though! Ordered online, so can't speak for service, but food was nice and hot when I arrived to pick up.”

“Hands down the best Indian buffet that I've ever had in the US. Thursday is their Dosa night where they have a live Dosa station along with South Indian staples served in buffet style. On the weekends they have buffet lunch ranging from Goat Dum biriyani to Haryali green chili chicken to their famous Tawa fish (amazing appetizer). If you're around Hartford or a student at UConn do yourself a favor and visit this place for their buffets. The restaurant is clean, they serve alcohol , service is excellent and the food is honestly to die for! I cannot recommend this place enough 👌🏼💯”
