“Today was my first time here. I tried the classic sour dough, the jalapeño cheddar sour dough, the mint chocolate cupcake ,the maple bacon scone and the french onion baguette. All super fresh and very well made. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything we tried was delicious!”

“if you live near UCONN, then you need to check out gansett wraps on storrs roadthe owner khal is originally from lebanon and when he moved to the states, he knew he wanted to share his love for food with the community around himhe originally opened his first wrap shop in narragansett rhode island and now gansett wraps is in a few towns across connecticut and rhode islandfirst timers have to try the gyro falafelits a beef gyro, with housemade falafel, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. the sauce is so savory and falafel which is a blend of chickpeas and spices added so much flavorother wraps can be stuffed with chicken, bacon, veggies and even french frieshome to where the husky womens basketball team gets their lunch, gansett wraps has to be added to your connecticut foodie bucket list❤️”

“Highly recommended place, I got pani/dahi puri thousands miles away from home! Obviously I love the taste and mango lassi was amazing. We also ordered Kebab platter with garilc-sesame naans and Mutton Roganjosh. Kebab platter was really good and reasonably priced. Platter had five different types of kebabs, I mostly liked Hariyali kebab. The spice of biryani was really good We ended with Faluda. Their service was really good, very cordial and well-behaved. Overall we enjoyed the dinner there?”

“I had not been to D'Angelo's for years I thought I'd try it again.. I placed an order online, went down and picked it up. There was a problem with the order which I didn't realize until I came home. When I called I was treated respectfully and the offer for a free replacement was given to me. With customer service being so horrible nowadays I have to command D'Angelo's for great service and good food.”

“I cant say enough good things about Craft Pizza, I've been a customer since I moved here in September and they have never disappointed. They go above and beyond, tonight I accidentally ordered a full pepperoni pizza instead of half cheese half pepperoni. When they called to check in, the pizza had already been made...and they went as far as to make me a small cheese for my vegetarian sister. They are so incredibly kind and make amazing food. This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food I've had to date! I have a strong culinary background and highly recommend you put this place on a short list of great food destinations! In the past we've had curry lamb, tomato soup, tom yam soup, lolipop chicken, fried rice, and aloo paratha. Make your way through the whole menu, you won't be disappointed!”

The food took and appropriate amount of time to be prepared as everything my wife and I ordered was freshly prepared. We ordered fried whiting / fried chicken / collard greens / rice and beans / fried pork chop / & shrimp . Literally everything we took a bite out of taste so amazing . I wasn't sure what to consume more of lol . The different flavors combined for such an exciting meal . The red beans with rice is definitely a favorite of mine now & I would say the drive from Windsor was well worth it 10x . You won't be disappointed , give it a try .”

“I come for the gyro and bacon cheeseburger platters; not a fan of Greek-style pizza (Neopolitan all the way!). Besides a couple minor order glitches, I've always been pleased with the friendly and attentive service, food quality, flavor, freshness, portions and price. I've only been there at pretty quiet times, but there's constant take-out foot traffic regardless of when I go, which is a good sign in my book.”

I've been twice, once in Avon and once in Cromwell, and was truly impressed both times. They serve Bell & Evans chicken and ground beef that's more commonly found in 4-star steakhouses. I love it!”
