“Karaoke night is always off the chain!I am a rotating KJ. The house sound system can be very finicky, but when we get it on point, the music and sound is incredible!!! “This was my first time here… I absolutely loved the burger… we had ordered hangover burger and it is one of best burger you can around this part of CT. I shared the burger, so they had cut in 2 and put it 2 different plates .. that was so good … usually I have requested to cut the burger in half.. many restaurants have denied it outrightly. Chicken wings are really good and worth every penny.. I was disappointed with the French onion soup though.. it was something I didn’t like at all.. order the tarter tots instead of fries.. looks they tots are popular there .. and fries aren’t great like burger..“
“IMHO, this place is up there with one of the neatest "local bars" around. It has a nice feel, and is spacious, and is a very fun experience. I know this is so gauche, but the staff makes you feel like Friends! Even better; the food is good! The draft beer is cold and the Guinness is poured correctly. The Corned Beef Egg Rolls are a “must try” and the pretzel’s and burgers are very nice. What more can one hope for? Highly recommended to anyone in the surrounding towns and well worth a detour off I-91 on your ski trip or leaf peeping or wherever your travels might be.“
“Nice baseball themed dive bar. Friendly staff, good drinks, and a dog that often hangs around! Tons of baseball memorabilia and pictures. They have parking in the back, and they have a pool table. There is no food here, but they have popcorn sometimes and there's a few types of chips you can buy. Many regulars but they welcome everyone from what I've seen the couple of times I've been. Great place to grab a drink.“
“Now THIS is how you go from 2 stars to a 5 star review!! I have not done this type of star jump in a very long time and to be honest, Flynn's Food and Staff deserve every single star. I was not surprised to see the spot fairly empty at 11:30 today for it was not packed when I first came here a few years ago to the disaster of the food and service that I had received. I noticed there was a different waitress today and she was spot on! From the greeting we received once we walked in, to how attentive she was once we sat down and her service with the other two tables....simply outstanding. This time around the mozzarella sticks came out hot and extra cheesy. So cheesy, the pull may have actually gone from the ceiling to the floor but what really took the flavor home, was the sauce my sticks came with. That level of home whipped up marinara sauce was insane baby!! So much flavor and you could taste the tomato broken down and diced up. Seasoned with love and only making my mozzarella stick, that much more enjoyable! Going with their New England Clam Chowder was also a decent experience. Chunks of potatoes and a nice array of clams that provided quite the luxurious bite, all I needed was the salt and pepper that I added upfront and this NE Clam Chowder had some "Slap Yo Mama" flavors going on. Their French fries were not greasy nor did they taste cold and forgotten but they had the mean double crispiness and already salted, which drove their bite into a very happy place with me. Now I am back on the Cajun Blue Cheese Burger and they got it right!!! The beef was real beef this time around. Seared up and juicy!! I had PLENTY of blue cheese crumbles all over my beef (unlike the single crumble from last time) and each chew was a pleasure to behold. Now this is a REAL BURGER that bites back with strength and I am here for it!!! I pitched everything at Flynn's today and they did not strike out! Each items was a HOMERUN and their service ran all of the bases!! I can't wait to come back and again, excellent job to the new Chef and the Staff here!!! This was a Revisit to be excited about!“
“The food and service amazing! We went there my boyfriend and I and I ordered a dirty martini with extra olives. The bartender was friendly and made a great martini. The best part is we went back a while later for a second visit, and she remembered exactly what I drink, and the estra without me saying a word. The food came out of timing dinner and was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant Update ----- I live down the street and applied for a job bartending . The owner called me twice , said he would be having me in for an interview and blew me off. So won't be back. I don't support people that don't keep there word.“
