“In April 23, I included photos of Traveltini in my Bradley Airport review. Because our flights were early AM and late PM, the bar was closed when we spotted this place for the first time.Flying from BDL late September through early October, we had the opportunity to patronize this stopover. No seats at the bar or in the lounge area were available around 4PM, but there were a couple of counter seats open that look out at the concourse.There is a menu of appetizers for patrons wanting a bite with their cocktail. All of the items are noteworthy and well-selected by whomever chose to feature them, but I can't review the food as we did not have time to order anything. The arancini the person near us was eating looked good.Our two martinis - one Bombay Sapphire and one French were well made and had good pours. It took awhile to get the drinks, which is something unexpected if a customer is looking to make their plane, but understandable if now just having arrived there is no time constraint. Bar stock contains all other spirits for those not seeking a martini. Closes at 7 PM.“
“IMHO, this place is up there with one of the neatest "local bars" around. It has a nice feel, and is spacious, and is a very fun experience. I know this is so gauche, but the staff makes you feel like Friends! Even better; the food is good! The draft beer is cold and the Guinness is poured correctly. The Corned Beef Egg Rolls are a “must try” and the pretzel’s and burgers are very nice. What more can one hope for? Highly recommended to anyone in the surrounding towns and well worth a detour off I-91 on your ski trip or leaf peeping or wherever your travels might be.“
“Great bar and dining service within Double Tree Hotel. When I'm in town, I get the standby chicken Cali sandwich which is always tasty and healthy. The bartender is attentive, as are the servers. Never a let down when I travel here. Good people.“
“This is a fun old feeling bar. The fanciest thing about the place is the digital juke box, and yes, it gets used. That being said, we loved this place. It was a Friday evening and the bar was full of folks who had just gotten off work.We started with the sweet chili wings, and wow.. they were good. My honey had the chicken sandwich which was good. I felt like testing to see if the Diablo burger was really that hot… it was an amazing burger, enough warmth to make you sweat but not tongue scorching. If you like spice, get this!“
“I’ve been here a handful of times throughout the years & it’s always been amazing. Tonight though, the drinks, the food, the service & the fun atmosphere proved that it just keeps getting better & better as time goes on. It’s really a totally amazing place & I highly recommend it!“
“If you're looking for a Pub with everything you're looking for in a pub plus a huge dining room and a great menu, you need to check out Jimmy's Pub. Not only a huge bar with tons of great taps and cocktails, a friendly group of regulars, and a sound system playing great songs, here is where you want to go. Pizza, unique and classic appetizers, and entrees that most pubs I've been to don't offer. I started with the Mexican Street corn dip with warm tortilla chips that made me feel I was on a Cancun beach at sunset, so very tasty. Next I had a pastrami rueben burger, it was perfect, it came with crispy beer battered fries, the best. I ordered a medium burger and unlike many, it was cooked medium, slightly pink, huge and juicy, plus, Swiss, pastrami, thousands islands, and cole slaw, I added mustard. I can't believe how fast I ate it, it was a magnet to my mouth. Juicy tasty perfection. When you get a chance, stop in for lunch or dinner and have a great experience like I did.“
“The people in the staff here are so wonderful! They're very friendly and provide you with service right when you get in! The food is fantastic! I drove from Meriden to come over here to have their New York Strip!!!! So delicious and tender! Everyone should go and try it!“
