The calamari is an excellent starter. The ny strip was very good but the au gratin potato's should be taken off the menu and replaced with french fries. A steak frites entree on the menu would be great. Frank and Shannon are superb at the bar!
We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and spaciousness of the decor and noted that this restaurant wouldn't be out of place in West Hartford center or even NYC and Boston and the food did not disappoint. Interesting cocktail and wine list. The calamari starter was lightly breaded and mildly spicy; the Cacio e Pepe and the Pescatora main dishes were terrific and tasty; and the tiramisu delicate and delicious. We will definitely be back.
The good, the service and the atmosphere of the Cafe Aura were absolutely fabulous. The selections of appetizers, salads/soups, pasta, entrees, wine list, and desserts were second to none. Exceptional parking offered on the side and rear lots as well as on the street itself. Truly a wonderful experience to enjoy!
