Not the most fantastic pizza, but the cheese…. The cheese is what does it here for me. I like this much better than Wilson’s and some of the other highly rated pizza in the area, but not my favorite.

Do not like burnt, crunchy crust, no calzones, no veal cutlet parm dinner, bare basics, and this was rated best in Connecticut? Have to be joking. Went somewhere else when I saw the menu and saw the crust on a couple of the pies.

It was somewhat busy when I went yesterday to have their own grinder for lunch. I had a Cheeseburger grinder. It was really good. Their place is clean and spotless. The employees are nice and their food quality is good.

I got a small pizza with several meat toppings. There was a good quantity of toppings. I asked for extra sauce and got it. (Not all pizza places actually do that). The pizza was tasty and the sauce was tomato-y. The crust was the crunchy kind, not the chewy kind.
The pie was small compared to those from other places, but also less expensive. I think the price was reasonable.
Worth going back to.

Love CJs! One of the best old school Italian mom-n'-pop takeout places left in the area. Order early during the week as it usually gets busy, after they were recognized in the local news. Eggplant grinders, house-made roasted peppers and pizza are some of the best items. A smaller menu but it allows them to make everything to perfection. Overall a great experience and value for the price.
Parking: An okay amount of sideways parking along the building but it can be chaotic sometimes and difficult to back out since you can't turn around. You can also park in the large plaza parking lot next door and walk around.
