Tried this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised with most of the food! The birria tacos and specialty margarita were fantastic. We ordered the "salsa de queso" to have as a starter, which is described as a white queso with jalapeños, but what we received was a cup of canned nacho cheese topped with some diced tomato. We asked, and our server said people didn't like the white queso and that is what they have now, but he very kindly offered to take it and remove it from our check. The house salsa was far superior to the cheese, so we just went back to that.

Wanted to try this place but was overall disappointed. The drinks were okay but the food was overly greasy and bland. The queso had no flavor, tasted like just cream. The tacos were greasy and the pork had a lot of fat. The service was slow when it wasn’t very crowded. The worst part was the karaoke on Thursday night. There were several moments where feedback blasted through the speakers and everyone participating were very bad singers which ruined the atmosphere for dinner and drinks.

Service is slow. Language barrier is the only issue, but hey, its a mexican restaurant with great food.......we deal with it! They make up for it with the tastiness!

I think this place deserves more love. The food was really good for the area. I’m used to Tex Mex as I’m from Houston and this was one of the better options in CT in my opinion. I’ve been to “4.5+ star” restaurants in the area and this was wayyy better than those by a long shot. Give it a try.

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday, place was empty. Had high hopes, but the burritos were bland, and mostly rice. Service was ok, we got our food quickly but didn't see a server until we were done.
