I had went there for a chicken soup and after opening it I had gotten a burnt chicken soup the Yuca was black and the chicken was black as well, and it smelled like burnt soup…😡

We went on a whim despite the few negative comments we saw and were so glad we did. The food was so good. The festivals, fried chicken, jerk sauce, salmon, rasta pasta... all delicious! Even the cabbage and rice and peas tasted fresh and good!
We went at a quiet part of the day and the chef came out and chatted with us. She was super friendly and welcoming!
Someone at the restaurant at the time recommended the brunch for Jamaican favs and party atmosphere so that's next up!

Order the jerk wings they came out overcooked and very hard as if they were old from the day before the shrimp was delicious. My only problem was the waitress kept forgetting my orders, and then tried to charge me for shit that she never brought to the table and then wanted to argue with me as if I was lying over $12. Went twice to happy hour and half the menu was always available

I don't think some of these posts are fair. This place is awesome. The food is great ( we had pepper shrimp and fish tacos). As a Jamaican who knows knows about food, it was so flavorful, a big surprise to both my nephew and I. I wish we were hungry because there were so many things that looked great on the menu. The prices are fair. The service was on point and the music blew our minds (shout out to the dj).
The music was NOT too loud as I could speak to both my nephew and bestie and they heard every word.
As a person who visits an abundant amount of establishments, this is one of my favorites.
I will say that the 2 for one special rum punches were tasty but had little rum. My least favorite, however, the mojito's are amazing.
They add 20% gratuity but that's fair, if you go to NYC or other establishments in CT, this is a common practice.
I will definitely be coming back.

On everything I love. I do not have to lie. Last night, Saturday December.The fourteenth was the second time ever going to fishing Thang . The first time I went.I ordered the oxtails, rice and peas in my recent piece.Of paper from butter wrap. When I brought it to my server attention. All I got was i'm sorry. Nothing off The bill. Truly there was a elephant in the room.No one was acknowledging it but me. Long time pass. Now here I am again on this december the fourteenth. I.
Ordered shrimps and fry. That was so.
Salty. Good thing we have the water on the table. The other order was.
The tangy Barbeque honey Barbecue. Was good . Young lady made a mistake and brought us some buffalo Wings. Not my thing. Fast for it. Cash, I'll come home this morning.I gets up.I would like to see more of this food. I look Inside of the container with the Buffalo wings and long behold, there's some d*** hair in the Container. I'm good

This was by the worse dining experience I’ve had in a while. The waitress was pleasant and the atmosphere was decent however the food service, food, and check out process was not. I felt I was robbed. I ordered jerk chicken and festival (which were burnt), I did return them and the chef offered to make more in which I declined ($5 was taken off my bill), It was a table of 2 and one person got their meal and was halfway done before mine came out (I ordered an order of plantain and never received asked the waitress in which I was told the 2 plantains on the plate that I thought were garnishment were the order of plantain for $5, ok bill comes and there is not only a 20% gratuity already calculated for a party of 2 but I had an additional item that was never ordered (if you are keeping up at this point you can see my frustration), she removed the extra item (additional $24 had I not been looking I would have just paid). Normally I try to give the benefit of the doubt but honestly I feel this is something I need to put out there, check your bills before you pay!!!

This was our first visit with a larger group of people and we had the pleasure of trying a large assortment of their offerings.
The experience behind when you walk through the door. Warm and inviting while remaining well lit. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing or hovering
To begin, the chicken wings are without questions the best my a Wife and I have ever had, Full-stop. We also greatly enjoyed the Fried Chicken, Fish Tacos and Whiting dishes.
Spicy, not-spicy, they have the flavor one would want in a driving experience.

Even if we weren't planning on caring out more chicken wings are least once a week for the months ahead we will be going back here.

Tried to order two different appetizers & they don't it. Main dish, same issue,.don't have it. Waited 50 minutes for food.
