Overview: From the outside it looks nice, from the inside it's as empty as you'll feel after eating the food. I've been here numerous times, and every time it's just as bad. Considering this is one of the last Mexican restaurants that hasn't been shut down in Manchester, maybe it's time this one shuts down and a new era begins. Honestly, go to Baja's instead. If you want a better Mexican experience with quality food, try out Fiesta Mexicana in Vernon.
Food:
- I typically get a burrito from Mexican restaurants, fajitas, platters, and tried them all at this restaurant. They're all subpar. From burritos that are mostly filled with hard, overcooked (or undercooked) rice with minimal meat, to ingredient choices that ruin the dish, there's not really a positive thing I can say about the food here. It's all consistently bad, at least they're consistent.
- Cotija cheese on top of a burrito? Absolutely repulsive. Why on earth would you put that cheese on top of a burrito?
- Asked for a simple modification on the recipe (ranchero sauce on the INSIDE of the burrito vs on top), repeated literally 3 times to ensure the order was taken properly and got NO ranchero sauce, at all.
- Guac served on dishes is typically not fresh, at all (why is it such an odd color every time?), and partially sways me to just lop it off.
- We always get an app, and that is typically Guac with chips. While the guac is made right in front of us which gives bonus points, it's often saturated with lime juice. Like WAY too much lime. At least it's actually fresh though.
- The chips are alright, very crunchy though, never served warm.
- Has the staff ever tasted the dishes they make? I am genuinely curious.
Drinks:
- Not much to say here about drinks, the prices are alright, a little bit high by $1 or $2. Not too strong, or too weak on the margs, so the drinks get a pass.
Service:
- Every single time we have dined here, the restaurant is completely empty except for 1 or maybe 2 other tables. MAX. I have never seen this restaurant busy in all the times I have went.
- With this preface, we never had the waitress come back for water refills, never checked on how the food was once, never asked if anything else was needed.
- Waitress only did her rounds when serving the food, drinks, and to give us a box/bill.
Other:
- The interior and exterior of the building is quite pleasing, and has a welcoming feel to is. It's often decorated so the ambiance is well done. Music is a tad too loud depending on where you sit, and especially if the restaurant is empty - that's the only noise in the building.

Well I came to this new restaurant to try the food. I have to say the food was good and served quickly.
The biggest problem is the employees who assisted us. With bad behavior and attitude, they gave us the wrong order, I accepted it so they wouldn't vote for the food. But they were never attentive to the table, we did not have water, juice and terrible customer service. I called the waitress and she ignored us, the other employee assisted us. For this reason I do not return to a place like this because of their treatment.
I came to try the food at this new restaurant, and I have to say that the food was good, and they served it quickly.
The biggest issue, however, was with the two employees who assisted us. They gave us the wrong order, which I accepted just so the food wouldn't go to waste. But they never checked on our table, and we didn't get any water or juice. The customer service was awful. For this reason, I won't be returning to a place like this due to the poor treatment.

Elegant food with a very festive space! Home cooked style foods with my personal request salad/ chutney. Some mild mishaps that simply reminded me of foreign cultural blips ( fun, fun). By the time we (2) were done 100$ ... didn't get pics of dessert yet worth my nickle!

This place was amazing. I went with my mom and my grandma and we all got different types of their tacos. We all loved our tacos. The food was just so yummy and we all finished our plates. Highly recommend.

Visited restaurant today with my wife. Wrong order was brought to me. When we finally got the waiters attention and he went to fix the order (fish taco’s) they were delivered with 1 small piece of fish in each taco. The waiter did not come back to check things until we were done eating. We mentioned our dissatisfaction with the portion size he said that there was not a manager working but he would convey our disappointment. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
The food is delicious no matter what you choose to eat. Had dinner with my friends and coworkers. The place is aesthetically pleasing with all its Mexican decor. The staff was friendly and very attentive no matter how large of small the group. We had chips salsa and the white queso dip (I can eat this all day and put it on everything). A great variety of appetizers. Everyone ordered different dishes, and it all looked and tasted delicious 😋 I had skirt steak with rice and beans and the side cabbage salad. I'm not usually one to eat everything off my plate, but I left nothing on my plate. I was in a food coma by I left. I think we all were. Funny thing when I overeat can sleep, but I slept like a baby full but not over stuffed. During Happy Hour, they also have a Mariachi band with lively music. They get the patrons to sing along. Truly recommend this place. It's an experience for your you'll enjoy.
Kid-friendliness: I would definitely bring my family to eat here. My grandkids would love the full experience, and I'm sure yours would too.

The food was nice and fresh, big portions, service was what it needed to be. She checked on us just enough!! Margaritas were nice and strong!! And the restaurant itself was nice and clean. Won’t be somewhere I go often but I will be back.

I'm not a fan of Mexican food but this place is always so bright and lively that I enjoy coming here. Someone in our family loves this food and we usually go here for her birthday. The service is always very good and the food is much better than other local Mexican food. Margaritas in East Hartford is a total dump compared to this place. If you are a fan of Mexican, it's worth a try!
Kid-friendliness: Went here for an adult family member birthday and there were 4 children under age 10. They had kid menus that the children could color. The staff didn't go above and beyond for the kids but they certainly weren't annoyed by them either.
