I went here on a weeknight after having a bad experience elsewhere. It's just a little place on broad street and I didn't expect much from it but wow it was actually really good! the food is delicious and the staff are really nice. If you want some quick sushi its a great place to stop! I will for sure be back.

Only complaint is that I have to wait more than 10 minutes to get my food because the rest of Manchester knows how good this place is as well. Best sushi.

absolutely the best sushi around.
Been coming here for years, best sushi spot ever ❤️
This small, non-descript restaurant is a hidden gem. When you go in, the restaurant is bright and comfortable. The downside is there are only maybe 6-8 tables plus the sushi bar. Staff is friendly, the food is excellent. Definitely the go to from now on for takeout sushi in Manchester.

Great sushi. The only downside is the small size, so I tend to avoid going when I expect it'll be busy.

I called in an order and noted my shellfish allergy. I've ordered from other sushi restaurants before with no problem, so i thought this time would be no different. Well, I just left the hospital for an allergic reaction to shellfish. When I called to inform them of what happened they kept making excuses as to why it couldn't have happened. The woman I spoke to just kept saying yup and okay and was very dismissive to this very serious reaction. I don't recommend this place.*Update*After I called the health department, the woman admitted to putting shellfish on the top of my sushi and said she didn't think it would be a problem. 10/10 won't ever visit here again
The decor of the restaurant is quite pleasant, with a typical 80’s Japanese restaurant vibe. Yelling noisy staff screaming at each other across the room in front of customers in Cantonese. Gruff and abrupt without a smile. Yes, Chinese-run, not that it’s usually a problem in of itself, but from experience Japanese are better at preparing their native cuisine and that rings true here too. The chicken just taste like it was seasoned with soy sauce. No sweetness which a good teriyaki sauce includes. It is very affordable though - this came to little over 10 dollars.

The hot dishes were delicious. We had the tatsuta age (breaded and deep fried with katsu sauce) & katsudon (breaded and fried katsu pork with egg onions and veggies over rice). The miso soup and ginger salad was good. I had to give it 3 stars because the sushi was not fresh and I've had better. Our server was very attentive and special. We liked Mathew a lot. The sushi chef unfortunately had a foul mouth. It was our first time here. It's a restaurant, not a pub. Unfortunately, we do not plan on coming back.
