This small, non-descript restaurant is a hidden gem. When you go in, the restaurant is bright and comfortable. The downside is there are only maybe 6-8 tables plus the sushi bar. Staff is friendly, the food is excellent. Definitely the go to from now on for takeout sushi in Manchester.
The hot dishes were delicious. We had the tatsuta age (breaded and deep fried with katsu sauce) & katsudon (breaded and fried katsu pork with egg onions and veggies over rice). The miso soup and ginger salad was good. I had to give it 3 stars because the sushi was not fresh and I've had better. Our server was very attentive and special. We liked Mathew a lot. The sushi chef unfortunately had a foul mouth. It was our first time here. It's a restaurant, not a pub....
My wife and I have been going here since we started dating 8 years ago. It's not a big place, but the food they serve is absolutely top tier. I'd say it's a hidden gem, but everytime I go there I see someone I know from highschool or a previous employer. It appears it's a well known fact that there's no where else to get better sushi in the Manchester area.
