My brothers, husband and I went for lunch at the Hartford Road Cafe in Manchester, CT. Outstanding food, great beer - they even had great non-alcoholic beer for my brothers. I had a lovely Sauvignon Blanc and Sheppard's Pie. One of my brothers had Sheppard's Pie too. My other brother had a Chicken Wrap. My husband had a Turkey Club. He loved it!!! The server was very kind, attentive, and helpful. The portions were generous and delicious. We had a very good time there....

I am not a regular restaurant dinner, probably haven't been seated in more than 5 yrs. Food was good. There were only a few customers and the bartender was trying to serve everyone at the bar and the few Dinners that were there. I would have liked more ketchup for my burger and fries, but I felt bad asking, server was busy, and I was never asked if I needed anything. Update: We've eaten here a couple more times. The Ketchup, brown mustard, salt and pepper are now out...

The new (not new anymore) bar is great. The bartenders are always super nice though one was fairly incompetent- I don't think he was supposed to be bartending.
The food is great. Where else can you get escargot in the area? Wings are decent. Sandwiches and entrees have never disappointed.
