I am very saddened by the fact that it is no longer a high quality restaurant, but rather a triqui Tim where they serve you food in disposables and the food is served lukewarm. The truth is that this concept now is not enough to travel almost an hour to eat comfortably, what a shame.

Went there today for the first time to try out their Relleno de papa and I’m so disappointed. All four of them are opened inside the bag.The meat is coming out and we aren’t eating them like. Also she told me they need to fry one more alcapurria and left it raw inside. I just wasted 25 dollars!

I eat here all the time. And it’s always good food at least the things I eat!! The only thing was they had a lady in the front who barely spoke English so I had to literally look up things to speak to her. But it was cool she was a nice lady. And every time I went I used debit!! I seen someone say they only take cash!! Unless things changed!!
The pernil never comes with skin, no matter how many times you request it. Even when I call and ask to make sure it’s there, they dont do it. Ive tried writing it in English and Spanish with Google translator and still doesn't happen. Not sure why it’s so difficult. If you go in person they’ll do it but cash only very convenient. You're better ordering a small size it comes with more than a Large and it costs less. I order here all the time and it's time to stop because depending whose putting your food together, you might not get any pork.

I almost gave up on ever being able to eat here because I thought they were closed. However today I went there and grabbed a cubanito sandwich and a large order of pernil with rice and beans, and 2 potato balls.. omg this place is amazing!! The food is just like homemade. It takes me back to my young wild days of running around Hartford with my crew eating at all the best hidden restaurants. This place is definitely gonna be a town staple. I cant say enough how impressed I am with the food and the service. The only down side is it's a cash only business and for someone like me that never carries cash it was a little inconvenience. But the plus side is they do have an atm right inside so it balances out. I wish the owners of this restaurant all the best and continued success. And I will definitely be a return customer
