Pepe's Restaurant & Lounge

I liked the set up of the restaurant, there is a bar area with plenty of seats, the bartender/waitress was very friendly and pleasant, and I had pasta giobotto (medallion chicken with sweet sausage in a red sauce) which was delicious. There is an outside patio that looked very nice. The price was reasonable ($18.00) and I had a nice glass of merlot ($5.00) which was perfect for my meal selection. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Their steak sandwich is the black pepper dark horse you've been wanting your whole life - I was completely mind blown. The taste and the sandwich were both authentic and generous and if it didn't taste so good I would have saved half for later. I want you to understand, this is not a Philly cheesesteak, it's what a Philly cheesesteak wishes it could be. Maybe the best one I've ever had?

The lines are usually long in the weekends, but the line goes down really fast. Try the shrimp pizza with red or white sauce… it’s amazing! Friendly service has always been the case for me.

The takeout girl, Keisha, was super sweet and helpful with my order. Had a drink while I was waiting for my food and the bartender , Frank, was also very friendly and accommodating. Refreshing to find a restaurant where all of the staff are friendly and happy to help! Will definitely be coming back!

My 1st time here today..7/16/25 because word on the street was ..it was good pizza. So after work I went inside & ordered a large sausage pizza bcuz they only have 2 sizes..small & large. The price was good too..$21.00. The Take Out person had a mediocre personality & they don’t do Military Discounts..that was the only downsides. I looked into the bar area & it appeared very cozy..& it was very lively for a Wednesday at 5pm but after Covid ppl realized that fun & hanging out dsnt begin on Fridays anymore..it’s everyday. The pizza was actually pretty good but not the best I’ve had. Wish I would’ve known there was an App but the mediocre Take out chick wasn’t thinking or caring that deep. A good worker will always tell a new customer what’s offered but since I am an App Person I did it afterwards. Smfh but I’ll definitely come back with my husband & enjoy the bar vibes.. maybe people’s personalities aren’t so depressing there..

We had the large Pepes special pizza, onion rings, 10 pieces of chicken wings, a beer, and 2 drinks, which came to $85 with tip. It's not cheap but that's the new norm. The bartender/server was excellent. 4.5* since that's not an option.

Parking: Parking is in the rear not front like I did. The entrance is on the side of the building.

My daughter had a Pepe's burger, which was delicious, and I had an eggplant grinder that was just as tasty. We will definitely go back whenever I want an eggplant grinder.

Absolutely abysmal pizza, just skip this joint and head for anything else.
My apologies to the owner for being so vague, that's completely on me, here's an edit as of 7/27/2024.
I picked up their buffalo gourmet pizza. I couldn't bring myself to finish the thing, nothing about the pie sat right. The sauce was thin, the buffalo sauce tasted like someone had liberally applied Frank's Red Hot. The dough was really, really strangely sweet, maybe that is the flavor intention, but it really didn't work for me.
Sorry Pepe's, it just wasn't to be.

Get the summer pie with pesto and fresh tomato. One of the best pies I’ve ever eaten. You’ll have to trust me. I didn’t pause for a picture!!! A small pizza was plenty for 2 for lunch. Cheap too! No frills dining room for easy in and out. Our waiter was helpful and engaging. Will most definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

I love the IPA beer. 7%.
The chicken wings with sweet and spicy mingled with mild buffalo sauce are so tasty and enjoyable. ???
