I hate to write a review on small restaurant but this was extremely disappointing! The cost of pho was extremely high for the quality !!! It is the worse pho I ever had ! The quality and taste was definitely not reflective of the price ! We order Togo and ask for the price which he did not give. We had pho from all over and this was the worse and the most expensive !

Veg pho made with veg broth, veggies, tofu, and rice noodles. Two different fresh rolls: one tofu and one veggie. Those are the basics right there. But recently, we asked and they agreed to make us the Vietnamese pancake filled with veggies and tofu. Was really great. Nice service, friendly, have been here a bunch of times.
Pho was good, but the prices are wild. $7 dollars for extra noodles? Insane.
Not sure if the restaurant knows it has poor delivery packaging or this is normal. This is my third time ordering takeout on two different apps, and my third time being disappointed. Noodles are overcooked and in broken pieces by the time it gets to you. They are so disintegrated it is hard to pick them up and eat, with just a little starchy flavorless broth.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The prices are completely ridiculous — it’s somehow more expensive than upscale Vietnamese restaurants in Hawaii.
I went and ordered lunch for a medium bowl with a drink cost me $40, which is insane for the portion size and quality. That means the bowl is around $30 alone and the drink is $10 dollar. I even had to ask for a receipt to confirm the price, and just like other reviews said, there’s no clear price breakdown anywhere. It feels sketchy and dishonest.
There are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants nearby that serve better food for half the price. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I wasn’t planning on writing this review, but after seeing so many others with the same complaints — and noticing that ownership has taken zero action — I felt compelled to share my experience. It’s simply not fair for future patrons to walk in without knowing what to expect.
This place is extremely overpriced for what it offers. Most appetizers are close to $20, yet they’re served on paper and styrofoam plates. The banh mi was especially disappointing — the bread tasted like it came from Walmart, nowhere near an authentic French baguette. The meat seemed microwaved and was drenched in strange, unidentifiable sauces. Overall, the quality is poor and the prices are unjustifiable.
And then there’s the oxtail pho — $30 for a bowl? There’s no reason oxtail should be “market price” when the meat is readily available at any grocery store for a fraction of the cost.
I really didn’t want to write this review, but after so many similar complaints with zero accountability from the owners, it’s clear that constructive feedback isn’t being heard.

The prices were insane. Banh mi sandwich was $17!!! Actually blew my mind. The standard pho was very average and cost $20.
It’s a shame that cultural foods have taken advantage of stupid white people and upcharge like crazy. Pho and banh mi are clearly originally cheap foods. The pricing here in suburban Connecticut is highway robbery though.
I paid more for a sandwich and soup than I would for all you can eat sushi which I think is a way better value.
The owner seemed like nice people, but their prices are insane, especially considering the location was nowhere fancy or expensive. Highway robbery is unfortunately the only way I could describe this, and I’m amazed this place has 5 stars

The Banh Mi sandwiches at Pho 99 were incredibly disappointing. I’m not sure how they can even be called Banh Mi. The meats were drenched in an unidentifiable sauce, and instead of being served with the typical pickled vegetables inside, the vegetables were handed separately and weren’t even pickled. The meats weren’t marinated and consisted of pulled beef and ground pork—nothing close to the traditional sliced grilled/cold cuts. I paid $32 for two sandwiches, thinking they’d be substantial, but the quality was so poor I could barely finish one and threw the other away. Pho 99 should seriously reconsider keeping this item on the menu.

The only menu I can find online is on yelp and if those are your prices that's crazy. Never pay $17 for a typical Banh mi sandwich
Vegan options are limited to the fresh roll and the veg pho, but both are delicious and high-quality. The fresh roll contains very large, generous portion of grilled tofu. The pho contains tofu, rice noodles, vegetables and veg broth. Fast friendly service.
