Dismissive and took a week to review results of an echo for breathing issues. Unacceptable and I will be switching from Prohealth completely.
I booked appointment with doctor, for my legg problem. But when I came for my appointment, they say I do not have appointment with them and they want to put me in wall in. This is 2nd they did.
I had excellent experiences up until the past 2 months. My provider was phenomenal and I was so pleased with her. Suddenly my appointments started getting rescheduled/cancelled the first time they called me and then 3 consecutive times I showed up for my scheduled appointment and it was cancelled on their end, last time they said it was because my blood work wasn't done gave me a lab sheet and told me to come back today. My provider's last day is June 28 and I have some significant health decisions that I need to discuss with her. I was told there was no way she could talk to me because the rest of her patients for the day don't speak English and she was the only doctor that could translate. I offered to wait until 7:00pm but was told I might as well make an appointment with a new doctor because she is leaving anyway. They said they couldn't override an appointment as if I was just showing up randomly. They couldn't override an appointment but it's ok to cancel my appointment and act like I am being unreasonable for asking. This doesn't even take into account THEY have been cancelling my appointments for 2 months.(Without calling and me showing up) I am still sitting in the parking lot to leave this review because I am speechless that this could happen. I have never missed an appointment and l showed up for 3 that they cancelled without notice to me. This is only my 2nd time writing an online review (the 1st was for 5 star service).
Disgusted that I had to beg to see my provider when I had an appointment, they screwed that up not me. At the end of all of that I am left out to dry....
I've been going here for a few years now. My PC is Joyti Mittal.
I think she is very knowledgeable and a pleasant PC. And I enjoy the care she gives me. Now the phone communication from the front desk can be approve.
Overall the company needs to work on their administrative side of the business. I have had a lot of issues with my referrals not making it/ my prior authorizations for medicines not being filled out. Everytime I call I have to wait for 30+ minutes.
I had a blood draw appt from my dr in the same building and the girl rudely turned me away stating my dr never sent over lab paperwork.
The only reason I continued to go here was because I LOVE my Nurse Practitioner
but-
I had a terrible experience today.
I called out of work because my allergies are killing me and I have a long history of sinus infections and
asthma. I made an appt today and there was none available with who I usually go to. I had an appt with Dr Quazi T Islam. - who was running an hour late oh his appts today first of all.
I was brought back after waiting 50 minutes, the med assistant was very nice . then the dr wanted her to do a covid test on me- understandable. the Dr REFUSED to come into my room and talk to me face to face. he called me over the phone and tried to diagnose me without even looking at me. I told him this is a lifelong problem of mine and I wanted antibiotics- again without looking at me he told me he won’t give me antibiotics. I told him it was hard for me to talk(plus they had me wearing a mask) AND HE CONTINUED TO NOT GIVE ME AN EXAM. Kept asking me questions over the phone hearing me wheeze and have trouble. Even after my covid test came back negative.
Again I am having allergy induced asthma issues and a sinus infection- this man finally came in with three masks on and gloves barely looked at me and when he checked my throat he had the NERVE to tell me to hold my breath- when i’m already having trouble breathing at that.
If you are that scared of getting sick - you do not belong in the medical field.
If you are not going to listen to your patient and actually give them a real exam and understand their health background and what works for them- you shouldn’t be in the medical field.
If you think I was such a huge threat to your health why were you so comfortable sending in your medical assistant to covid test me?
Dr Quazi T Islam is a poor excuse for a Doctor.
He is clearly in the field for the money and doesn’t care about his patients at all.
I have never felt disrespected at a dr appt before in my life.
I hope that this man loses his license or goes to online appts only there is no reason for him to be seeing people in person, this experience was so unprofessional and rude. I have never had a doctor back away from me for a sinus infection. Then tell me i’m fine BUT still stay as far away from me as possible as if I have a flesh eating disease.
I called requesting my "doctor" to fill out a form for me for insurance... office didn't bother calling me back for a MONTH AND A HALF. This is why I don't consider myself to have a primary care doctor.. this office is truly pathetic.
Update- "Dr" Joyti should be reported to the medical board.
I requested that she no longer be my doctor, after she yelled at me and called me a bad patient for not accepting her misinformation about ketamine infusions that have a 70% success rate at beating depression. She refused to fill out my medical necessity form, but sure did try and put me on schizophrenia medication whilst postpartum(for depression lol!) I looked into the reviews of this "medication" she was trying to put me on for depression...
All horrible reviews from people who were prescribed it for depression. The only people who had good results from this medication were those who had diagnosed schizophrenia... which I do not have.
Prohealth, do better, because this "doctor" is a quack who will KILL someone one day.
Do not EVER schedule me with her again or I will not be returning! After ALL this, you people still scheduled me with her again! Neither her OR I want to see each other again. Get it together, utterly pathetic office.
Prepare for an adversarial relationship with the business side of this doctor's office if you decide to go here.
Phone wait times upwards of 20 minutes are typical, and they don't bother notifying of past-due bills, so communication is poor to nonexistent.
The only positive thing I can say about this place is that I have a doctor here who I feel cares about my health and wellbeing, and office staff are friendly and professional when they can actually be reached.
That being said, do not go here unless you have exhausted all other options. I hope legislative changes happen to make places like Prohealth Physicians obsolete.
Avoid this place. It's a puppy mill.
Waited months for my appt went and was told it was cancelled. Owners push doctors to exhaustion. My doctor is a wonderful person and I hope she can find another location to practice medicine.
When you call in, you're left on hold for 15 to 25 minutes. Since we started 2024 I have had nothing but problems getting prescriptions filled. They say they placed the order but Walgreens say they never received the order. The patient is stuck in the middle with no resolve. This time I've waited 3 weeks for my prescription and it's still not filled.
I have been waiting for over a week for a referral to a specialist. I have called four times and also posted a message to my doctor. Each time I call I am on hold for at least a half an hour and no one seems to act on my request. Very frustrating. I am ready to change doctors.

I love doctor Bonnie she used to work in Hartford and because she is great physician i decide to come to the Manchester location but this is making difficult to keep coming here. Someone needs to do something about the waiting call and hired some people or something so they can answer the phone and not let you wait for so long.

That’s my third day calling and every time I am waiting half an hour to 45 minutes someone picks up and they put me on hold again, this is really annoying. They need to fix this problem.
Have called each day two or three times and was put immediately on hold for 25 to 30 minutes each time. Today I tried once and decided to stay on hold for 30 minutes and was cut off. I give up. This over a medication issue where one of my medications was canceled from both my mail ordered medications and local CVS pharmacy. I needed an explaination. as I have run out of that medication, but can't get through to anyone.Dr Carta has been my doctor for over 40 years and now I will be looking for a new doctor.I just don't understand how you can run a physicians practice this way.
