I get chicken teriyaki all the time at another poke place. But this poke don has the worst chicken. It’s white square chunks that taste like dried cardboard. So disappointing. And the teriyaki sauce is too thin. However they have the best shrimp appetizer and the best yum yum sauce than any other poke restaurant that I’ve been to. The rest of the options are mediocre. The “fresh” veggies & fruits taste like they came out of a can.

Fish was fresh and the bowl combinations on the board are excellent themselves. Loved the Hawaiian the most, was texture heaven and incredibly delicious. The tuna was like butter! Staff was very friendly and service was quick.

When you order delivery, they have generous options and you can choose 3 sauces. It didn't come on the side so I guess they mix everything... So it made the bowl too salty. lol Just be careful, don't be greedy lol

Always friendly service and VERY GOOD sanitary and food procedures. Always fresh fish and clean inside always. Employees always change gloves and avoid cross contamination from what I see. Fave poké place!

The minuscule protein portions are laughable. I eat Poke bowls from different restaurants every week, and “Poke Don” by far is the most sub par in Connecticut. You get about 5 pieces of meat and if you ask for 1 piece more, they want to charge you double protein. For an almost $20 meal, it’s not worth it at all. Greedy business model & not pleased at all.
