I recently visited Silk City Coffee, and it was an absolute delight! Their lattes are simply out of this world—smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of flavor. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into crafting each cup.
The shop is incredibly spacious, with huge windows that let in an abundance of natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The beautiful decor, combined with the bright and airy feel, makes it the perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends.
Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a cozy place to unwind, Silk City Coffee is a must-visit. I can't wait to return!

I was in silk city this morning working while my daughter was at camp and I just wanted to say that Silk City Coffee has the absolute best staff. I watched them treat each customer so kindly and respectfully and take care of their unique needs. What a special coffee shop. The amazing coffee and baked goods are an added bonus
I wish I could give them a 1/2 star for service. This is the second time I’ve visited this establishment (sad since I live walking distance ) Customer service not really welcoming staff almost looks as if they’re being held hostage. Want to ask them to blink twice to let me know if they are in danger or not.
Now the “product” Latte and two blueberry crumb cake. The expresso in the latte was watered down, not sure who brews it but very very underwhelming! The crumb cake was also tasteless, you’d have to grab the top sugary crumble with some of the cake to make it taste like anything.
I decided to give this place a second try as the first time the service was also meh, it was busy so I didn’t want to be too harsh and figured I would try again on a less hectic day.
I do feel business owners consider their place being busy as they are doing “well”. I think, why not venture out and do your research and scope the competition and unfortunately I have to blame management, owners when the service suffers.
I want to shop local and support my community but I’d rather go where my money is appreciated and feel apart of something.
To add I don’t support franchises and consider myself a coffee connoisseur as I’ve been drinking from a very young age.

First time in CT, popped in here to grab a quick breakfast. Chipotle sandwich was fantastic and honestly enough for 2 people. Coffee was delicious, fruity and bright tasting. If I had more time, I'd definitely be a little more adventurous in my coffee choice. The cafe was busy but not overly so and the staff looked like they were enjoying helping new folks and chatting with their regulars. I'd come back again for sure.

Top notch coffee and service. Food is also really good. Great place to stop in and grab your favorite caffeinated beverage.
Also a great place to set up and work for the day. Plenty of tables and outlets to always find a spot you can sit and plug in.
