This food truck is awesome! Great prices, great friendly service from everyone in the truck (3person staff) and one person in our party said that the brisket is “the best meat I’ve tasted in my life” 🤩🤩

We had brisket potato and baked mac & cheese.

Everything was delicious and hit the spot!

(4 stars for atmosphere because I have not been in the actual shop, this location I visited was a 5atar food truck)

Saturday 11/2/2024 evening 5pm visit - Found them on Google and IG- My husband was looking for some BBQ, and i wanted soul- (We came from Windsor)
OKAY, THIS IS JUST OUR OPINION ONLY OURS- PLEASE JUDGE FOR YOURSELF

food was okay, just not our taste
The ribs were a beautiful color but dry
The bbq chicken I had breast & leg dry
the side of the bbq sauce was good for the chicken, I didn't try with the ribs
The greens were just greens bland
the Yams smelled amazing, had little flavor but just dry
The corn bread was very dry. I didn't like the flavor at all...I will leave it there...I will try another day, maybe earlier

Not huge on barbecue sauce but took a risk at trying this place. They don’t over do it, and even then the sauce they use doesn’t taste like generic stuff from the grocery store. Would 100% eat here again.

Small family operation with outstanding food. The Brisket and Carolina slaw were a home run. The smoked sausage was a bit spicy. The corn bread was possibly the best I've ever had. The house bbq sauce is excellent. Highly recommended. Primarily a takeout joint, but there are a few stools along a wall if you want to eat there.

Ribs not juicy but this was my first attempt at this establishment so willing to try again.

Delicious food, friendly service, and the perfect atmosphere for a small little BBQ joint serving up soul food and BBQ. I was extremely satisfied with my sliced brisket, beans, and cornbread. The cornbread is crumbly and delicious. The brisket was so tender it often fell apart as my fork hit it. Prices are absolutely fair for what you get. Come enjoy one of Connecticut's best BBQ spots. Who would have known that Manchester had BBQ like this?
