Awful McDonalds at the Vernon CT location. Just keep driving til you get to a better one. Stopped here, off the road with my kids coming back to NY from Boston. Bought a coke, my kid wanted a refill on Coke and they refused to give one. This is not the McDonalds way of doing business. Taylor the manager, dressed unprofessionally in a red Nike Hoodie with Crocs told me it's a high volume store. I come from NY, this store doesn't do near that kind of volume and the NY stores give refills. Also when you put a table order in on the app they are supposed to bring it to the table. Not leave it on the counter in a brown bag. I'll be calling corporate first thing Monday morning. I'm a daily McDonalds customer.

Couldn’t be happier that I left, I only stayed because of my coworkers at my store specifically. They’re literally everything that’s good about the company and that’s it. I go back once a while to say hi and all to them and them only. But I hope to never have interaction with this family specifically again. Still remember when the GM of Rockville asked where my brother went to work after he quit on him, I told him Amazon and he says “That’s where they all go.” Oh REALLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY ☠️. You know what’s even more wild, Lisa don’t even remember what payroll system her own company operated under before the one they have now and when she never notified me of my reissued checks that were MIA for a bit, her excuse was she couldn’t help because she was on a cruise. Lmfao. 🤣 okay couch 🥔.

Customer Service? Depends on the Store. Employer has a whole? Avoid like the plague.Corporate needs to take the rights of ownership away from this family. Business practices are unethical and their ability to hold back wages and never answer phone calls or always have a lousy excuse for pay back is absolutely unacceptable and unlawful. Some employees will end up working for free to please this family and they will do nothing about it. The son runs Rockville and the ethics are a major concern in how it’s ran. With this people, you need something, the Walsh’s instead of finding the best solution for you, they’ll give you the best excuse they’ve got in the book. There is never an excuse for missing back pay or failing to commiting criticism pays. If you can’t operate in a responsive and respectful fashion to your employees then you have no business operating a company. They apparently find it harder to fire a crackhead that leaves pipes around the building where children can stumble across them than run well qualified manager out of the building after working the lift out of them and forgeting about their back pay and then taking months to pay that back pay, and then finding excuses to why they keep failing to commit to that back pay. If the dept of labor ever walked foot into their practices and excuses, the horror of debt this employer would face would be absolutely devastating to them. Avoid them. Labor laws are regularly broken to often. And if you work for this Franchise, track every single minute you work for them, you won’t regret that in the end. Garbage.

Lisa W. has a terrible attitude and even worse conflict resolution skills, to say the least. Dont ever go to the East hartford 1261 Burnside Ave McDonald's, late at least. I was fortunate enough to receive a tampered big Mac, and by tampered, I mean there was an unusual wet glob on the top of my dry burger bun and rewind a bit more.... while at the drive thru the young man didnt say anything to me he just opened the window and took my card(that's fine ) then proceeded to close the window and start saying at an extremely loud tone of voice " WERE CLOSED WERE CLOSED. WERE CLOSED" but 6 or 7 times more while laughing with the guy in the kitchen, mind you there infact not closed because I was sitting at the window at 11:25 and they closed at 12. I spoke to the owner and she denied everything saying I made it all up I then went on to say that I have pictures of the burger and she was like "oh I'm sure you do" also that if there's videofootage I'd like to view it and she hung up on me.... super professional people. Save your money and go somewhere else. You'll thank me later

Used to work here.. the lady in the office is very ill-mannered. Worst office experience I have ever experienced. Called for 3 weeks trying to get important info. When I finally get a call back, she short answers you and rushes you off the phone. And when I corrected her on how to pronounce my name she says “sure”. Seriously need to hire someone to work the office phone or get some serious training on customer service!!

Hello I just left the mc Donald’s on reservoir rd in Vernon and I went through the drive through and the boy who took the order was very rude and disrespectful over the head set we got to the window and there was two females and the white boy sitting there on there phones and being rude. When we told them it was very unprofessional how they were speaking over the head set we were told yeah ok and then the window was shut in our face we were not give out receipts or told to have a nice night and thank you for coming. Do to this situation I we’ll not be going to your restaurants I don’t appreciate being disrespected I am a very educated woman and to have these young adults speak to me the manor they did I’m speak less will follow up I. The morning have a great night

Unfortunately, their history means little. I have visited their stores in the area recently and they are not kept up. The location on West Middle Turnpike is always filthy inside, from the soda dispensing area having spilled drink all over, the drain below the dispenser area backed up with sludge and soda, the floors always sticky as if they are never mopped, to the areas in the kitchen you can see being disgusting (covered with uncooked fries and other food. Employees in the kitchen busy on their cell phones or having conversations about the party they went to the night before. Approximately two weeks ago I was witness to excessively loud music from the kitchen with workers dancing around and ignoring the customers,. On the last visit tonight I went through the drive through and ordered my drink, coke with no ice. I received a root beer with full ice and when I asked for the proper drink the girl at the window gave an attitude that I would ask her to correct the mistake she made. This is very sad to see since I remember when the Walsh family ran their businesses out of their house across the street from my aunt and back then they were proud to keep their stores spotless. Not today. I will not be returning to any of their stores since I see that this seems to be the normal for their operations today.Dan Emrick - former customer

Just decided to give the west center St. McDonald's one last try after the last incident I encountered where I was rudely spoke to by an employee. Not to mention this location is notorious for messing up the order to some capacity..if you go through the the drive through 9 out of 10 times they screw up that order too. Well as I should have expected when I went to place my order I was given a major attitude from the womanworkeing the rgister. I will NEVER set foot in a walsh location again if this is the caliber of employee's that work at their establishments. I'll happily go to burger king or wendy's. I've spoke to one manager in the past but apparently that does no good. Do not go here unless your ok with being given an attitude or having your order screwed up.

DBA McDonald’s Restaurant in Manchester Connecticut next to the courthouse is one of the best McDonald’s I’ve ever seen so Walsh family owns several McDonald’s throughout the Connecticut Hartford area and everyone of their stores it’s always clean and run properly with employees that actually have a smile and a store that actually has employees, regardless of what’s happening in the world. I’ve been frequenting these McDonald’s franchise restaurants for over 40+ years now and all I can say is they’re very consistent. Mike and Bobby Walsh took over the restaurants I believe it was 1959 the family and today their son Tim Walsh is an owner operator and I believe as well as Tom Walsh who are brothers and are twins. Keep up the great work and as always they have the best French fries north of the Mississippi. ?
