Best chinese food in town.

Food is terrible. And it didn’t used to be. Do they even cook to order? All I saw was microwave cooking. And heaven forbid they let you step more than one foot in the door to get your order. They have a table blocking it. I get why during the pandemic but seriously it’s freezing outside while you wait for an order they said would be in 10 minutes. But it’s already been 25.

So you check the menu online at AllMenus and give your order along with your debit card information over the phone. You go to pick up your order, and woe to the overly rotund who may not fit between the front door and the social-distancing table that reminds you not to even *think* of approaching the counter. While you wait -- assuming you arrive before the standard "ten minutes" prep time given -- you may glance to your right and notice the light switches that look as if they were transferred directly from an auto repair service bay, black grease smears and all. You reassure yourself that hands are probably washed before preparing your food. You're soon disappointed to learn that everything is charged significantly higher than listed on AllMenus. No receipt other than the paper menu with your items circled and your total written at the top and added to the empty wine box everything went into (to be fair, the PuPu Platter has a lot of pieces and might not fit in a standard bag in addition to his lo mein and her combo). You reach your destination and find the food is pretty good, egg rolls oddly sweet and overly oily but sinfully tasty. You compare your meal with others that have cost more, but most have cost less, and as you research what other reviewers have said, you wonder whether you'll be one of the unlucky ones to endure the ravages of gastrointestinal distress tomorrow...

Would give 0 stars if possible. So unorganized and the staff is rude. To get your food you need to tell them your order multiple times and they accuse you of not paying because they have no idea what is going on. Handed me the wrong food after interrogating me on my payment that they insist you do over the phone. When i come back to get the right food they’re even more rude like it’s my fault they don’t have an idea on what’s going on. HIGHLY would not recommend. Worst service ever.

We placed an order over the phone and went to pick it up 20 mins later. When we show up they interrogated us and then told us that we needed to pay $10 more than what they charged us over the phone. Then they give us the completely wrong meal. Never returning. Also, it looks like They’re burning their bridges from the reviews I’ve read .

I've been a customer for years and have been very happy with their take-out. However, my last 5 orders have been missing a meal. Tonight was the last order. My credit card is always billed for what's ordered, not received. It's a shame because the food is very good.

I would have to second the person who said, "Decent food but the rudest customer service ever!" We ordered and waited 20 min. Got there and they didn't have our order. Guessing they gave it to someone else. We had them remake the order and had to wait an additional 25 min. There was no apology for the wait or offer of an add on for their mistake. Rather they treated us like we were the problem, and they were doing us a favor. I like their food and good size portions, but the consistently poor customer service / tolerance has us looking for other alternatives in the area.

I am giving ZERO stars to this place, in order to post this review, I have to give at least 1 star within this format. Initially I ordered 3 combos to go and they tried to charge me for 4. The staff in general looked like they were angry for me to even be there, but the girl who took the order was especially rude. They blocked off the entrance so you have to order from outside the front door over a large table and they all kept a distance like I had the plague...the pandemic is over. Now on to the food itself. I ordered the Beef Ho Fun which is the wide flat rice noodle, which has been a favorite of mine over the years. When it's prepared properly it's truly a tasty meal. Well, when I opened the container, it looked bad right from the start. I took my fork to jab a noodle, but when I did it was hard as a rock. I pushed the fork deep into the plastic container and withdrew one huge gelatinous clump of Ho Fun noodles that weren't even cooked. How on earth they plated that food to serve is beyond comprehension, they must have no pride at all. Further more, the beef seemed rancid and the veggies were few and far between not to mention they were far from fresh. The other combos were for two teenage boys that will eat anything put before them. The beef and broccoli and the orange chicken meals were discarded and barely eaten. They immediately had the same response that I had, pure disgust. Please stay away from this place, I should have stayed with my go-to place, Lee's Stir Fry in Columbia, but since I was at the Big Y in Mansfield, I decided to give China East a try. I truly regret doing so.

Decent food but the rudest customer service ever! I got a 60.00 order of takeout, asked for chopsticks and the lady actually threw them in the box. I will never go there

Payed cash change was thrown at me and I still left a tip for pick up. Ordered lobster fried shrimp... order it I dare you... drfinetly don't. It looked like squid fish bait out of the freezer and had 1 piece of hard meat. Its went downhill, i used to like the place. Even the young lady was rude, but especially the older one, she literally tgrew the money at me . The Chinese restaurant near Walmart is way better
