“As a celiac family, we are SO glad to have a breakfast option within driving distsnce, and it just so happens to have excellent food and service. We have been multiple times, my son has never had an issue with gluten contamination and we have always enjoyed the experience. “My husband and I went to the restaurant for the first time last night. When we got there, we found that they could only do take out at the present time. There was a nice gentleman (cook) and he told us they need waiters/ host before they can get back to the way things were before COVID. We placed our order and told it would be ready in 30 minutes. The plus side is, they have to cook everything "made to order" so our food was nice and fresh and DELICIOUS!! Hopefully now that UCONN is back in session they will get some good employees and be able to have "dine-in" again.”

“I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.”

“The first and last time I had Five Guys was in Shanghai in 2021. This was my second time at Five Guys. Ordered a hamburger with onions, lettuces, tomatoes, mayonnaise, mushroom, ketchup toppings. The most juiciest burger I’ve ever had! It is perfect to pair up with a cup of Diet Coke, while dazing at the sunny 6pm vibes outside in CT. There’s a plenty of parking when I got there, and fairly easy and friendly to park. The place and parking lot looks like recently furnished”

“I ordered a 16 piece. A coworker went to pick up. My order wasn’t there, he was told that someone else accidentally was handed my order. They apologized and remade order-even included a cookie for the trouble. Called back to thank them for making it right!”

“The food at Gallo's is by far the best I've had in the area. They took extra care with our vegetarian quesadillas, creating an off-menu special with mushrooms, onions, and peppers, all freshly cooked and packed into fresh and tender corn tortillas. They will make anything in a veggie version and also do gluten-free. The storefront restaurant is modest but has a warm feeling. Gallo's has the feel of a community favorite and the food is made with love. Can't recommend this gem enough!”

“Was Working in town and decided to stop by as I’ve heard great things about UConn Diary Bar. There were commencements going on so lines were a little long but worth the wait. I got a medium 3 scoop black raspberry which was fresh and delicious. Definitely would go back again.”

“I love supporting local small businesses! This place does not disappoint. They are super friendly and always ready to answer any questions. I have tried many different things and I am always very pleased. Yesterday I picked up some of their strawberry jelly and it tastes just like my mom's used to. 💜 Its the first one I've been able to find and putting it on their bread made either even better! I also picked up the Hungarian mushroom soup. It was so tasty and full of mushrooms! If you haven't tried this spot definitely put it on your list! You won't be disappointed 🥰”
