Stopped here for a quick lunch bite between college visits. I think it was the owner or manager who took time to welcome us and let us know about the specials and what was worth ordering. Everything was made to order, very fresh and tasty. The Veg Chili and Clam Chowder were a hit. Wish we had more time to enjoy our meal.
Dog Lane is a unique restaurant, offering sandwiches, salads and dinner specials. Just off the UConn campus, this is a popular stop for students, grabbing a quick bite of comfort food, or quietly preparing for an exam or project. Dog Lane has a great selection of deserts, and for legal patrons, offers a selection of craft beers and wine. Foods good. Gave my wife, who is very allergic to gluten, a regular bun after ordering gluten free. It was rung in correctly but kitchen messed up, again... Food took forever to get. Chilli was extremely sub-par and needs work. Good coffee though.
