Absolutely lovely and delicious restaurant. Went with a couple of friends and no one had a complaint about their meal. I enjoyed a really yummy fried rice and the customer service was SUPERB. Workers were darling and sweet. Highly recommend!

Today we went to our son’s favorite restaurant Oriental Cafe for the most delicious weekend lunch ever! Fresh, delicious, and such a selection! The atmosphere is charming and the service is great. Highly recommend dining in and treating yourselves! As always we had a great time.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for those in a walker or wheel chair, park on the right side for handicap space and entrance.

Food is delicious but management is a scam. Bought a gift card for my parents for Christmas at Giftly.com. The store is associated with their yelp account attached and shows the correct address of the business. The owner refused the gift card. Trying to get a refund so we don't double pay this business.

the food is mediocre at best. prices are very expensive. ordered sushi and expected normal rolls but received nigiri.

Slightly on the pricier side, but still beats its other Asian restaurant competitors in Storrs… and service is friendly. With regard to specific dishes:Singaporean fried rice noodle is flavorful (4/5)Seafood fried udon isn’t bad but shrimp and scallops could be more fresh. (3/5)

I've never had a bad meal here, and the service is always nice. I usually go for the sushi and soup, but I try other dishes from time to time.

Ordered for the first time. Not what I expected of almost 30 dollars. 2 wontons and some slivers of lettuce? Usually chives come in wonton soup. The taste is not good I threw it out and crab Rangoon are so small and taste fishy I threw them out. I ordered chicken combination and got white rice. Never eating there again

Decent sushi at the OC! This pan-Asian restaurant features Japanese, Thai, and Chinese-based cuisine and generally I'm a little leery of such "jack-of-all trades" restaurants since usually they're mediocre. But the sushi was pretty good - not out of this world, but pretty good. My wife had their spicy maki sushi assortment and said they were all tasty and fresh; my daughter and I had their omakase sushi and sashimi combos. The combo arrived attractively plated, accompanied by finely shredded cabbage, pickled ginger, and wasabi paste. The sashimi assortment (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white tuna, and sea bream) was fresh and clean-tasting; the nigiri sushi assortment (similar fish as sashimi but including ebi) was also good; and the California roll was satisfactory. No miso soup or salad came with the set, however. Service was prompt and attentive. A good place for your sushi fix and we'll visit again to try other dishes!

I got wonton soup. There were only three wontons, and like four pieces of shredded lettuce, surrounded by a lot of odd tasting yellow broth. I also got chicken udon which had only a few shreds of chicken surrounded by oily large noodles that make you feel sick after eating. They were definitely skimping on the important stuff. I'm guessing its management being portion sticklers. Strongly recommend avoiding this cafe as it does not taste authentic.

Oriental Cafe has a fantastic lunch menu at great prices, making it super accessible to UConn students and families. The Japanese lunch specials come in a Bento Box style plate with a California Roll, Shumai, and miso soup on the side. The services was very fast and everyone was very nice. I really like the Bento Box plate, I think it goes really well with the theming of the whole place.
