Stix n Stones was recommended by a friend and we’re so glad we went! It was pretty busy but thankfully the kind hostess sat us right away.
Our calamari was made perfectly. My wife was more than satisfied with her hefty portion of scallop risotto and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better vodka pasta. Kudos to the chef!
Service was amazing, our server, Nathalie was so kind and attentive the whole night despite it being busy, she made sure our first time experience was wonderful from start to finish! We will be back!

We had such a delightful meal here tonight. We ordered a couple of appetizers and pasta dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
Amy, our server, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. The owner was also incredibly warm and hospitable, which made the experience even more special.
The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy your meal. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and wonderful service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went there with a pretty large group, and all of us were impressed. We’ve all eaten A LOT of Italian food, so it’s hard for us to get too excited over another restaurant. That said: we all loved it; everyone thought the apps and entrees were top notch and we had a variety of items. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is just right. Definitely a gem and worth going to Storrs instead of any old place in central CT.

Started out the evening with Arancini and garlic bread. We ordered Bolognese pasta, vodka, pasta, and seafood risotto. Every single dish was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Finally! I’ve been wanting to get here, mainly because my Italian friends say it’s the best Italian food they’ve ever had at a restaurant,
( and who says that?!?) and yes, it’s the best food! Party of 3, great vino rosso, seafood risotto, lemon chicken, vodka rigatoni. Crab cake special appetizer, it melted in your mouth. Tiramisu and “ the best coffee of your life” made by Michael, the owner. Who, by the way, is so passionate about the menu and food you can feel it! It truly was something special. You just need to go.

Attended a show at Jorgensen Theater, we asked for a suggestion for dinner.
Stix n Stones was highly recommended. Well, that was best answer we could have ever received.
Everyone and everything was fantastic.
We were in from out of town, can not wait to come back.
Saw the catering menu, tempted to take the 90 minute to have some stuff available at home!! 🥰🥖🍝 (as far as sound, there was a large party in front of us and we still could hear each other)

Had truffle fries, turkey sandwich, Chai latte. All delicious, especially the fries, don't miss out on those. Very fast service. Not too pricey. Great bakery and gift shop as well.

Soft undercooked aranchini, cacio e pepe without enough of either and using the wrong pasta, bucatini instead of spaghetti. Underwhelming.

I was so hopeful… I had heard great things and was excited to get some amazing Italian food in a quirky, cool little local joint.
I’m horrified I spent $100 for two people to choke down a few bites of reheated, overcooked proteins and greasy pasta. Service barely noticed us, just doing their job, I guess. It’s really too bad, but I guess the florist/landscaping/boutique/Italian restaurant combo may be just too odd to be good.

A don't miss. The freshest food and best sauces. Lots of variety. Great atmosphere and service. Well paced. We all loved our meals and had something different. Salad, chicken parm, eggplant rollatini, and salmon. Enough for lunch the next day, too. Would have loved to try dessert, but we were stuffed. Highly recommend. One of the area's greatest gems.

The food was very good and our waiter was very nice, made us really good drinks. I however was not a fan of the owner coming out and pressuring me to tip. I had already spent $50 for 2 sandwiches and a couple of drinks on the food combined. I understand tipping but it's not mandatory. I was also unaware that the sides were not included with the sandwichs and paid $3 each for the equivalent of one small bag of chips and a tiny salad. I had a very great time untill this happened.

My husband and I chose Stix n Stones Marketplace for our rehearsal dinner and wedding welcome party. We are thrilled with our decision! The staff is attentive and kind, especially the bar staff. Our every need was catered to. The food was delicious, especially the chicken parm and desserts. The interior space, while cozy, is very cute. The outdoor space is more expansive and truly lovely and worked perfectly for the size of our welcome party. Stix n Stones will take care of you no matter the occasion. We love Stix n Stones and cannot wait to go back. Thank you all for making our rehearsal dinner and welcome party unforgettable!

Incredible food, lovely staff, funky cool spot. Its a market, an Italian restaurant and a flower shop. I’ve been working my way thru the menu and wow. The eggplant rolatini is out of this world.
