We have been coming here for years to get gluten free Chicken and Waffles. It’s always been consistently good. One time in 2025 we got a bad batch but new ones were made and it was fine.
Today we went in for Gluten free chicken waffles and did not have a good experience. To start with there was a woman worker dropping F bombs in the back of the kitchen. That wasn’t appreciated.
We got the Gluten Free chicken and waffles and both of our waffles were mushy undercooked. We sent them back and both were re made. They came out overcooked this time like cardboard. We sent them back and were treated extremely rude by the same lady who was cursing in the back of the kitchen for all customers to hear.
She said “Ive seen you guys come here before, your loads of fun”. and other fun gems like “This is how we cook them, if you don like it, dont come here.” It later evolved into “Dont come here anymore.”
Im very disappointed in the continued downward slope in quality and customer service. Its unacceptable to be spoken to this way.

When traveling I’m always in search of a great omelette. I found one today at Toast. The western omelette I ordered was hot fresh and delicious, quite possibly the best omelette I’ve ever had. It was accompanied by home fries done the right way. And really good fresh toast. Coffee was hot and black, and the service was perfect. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area again. Go Huskies! ☕️🐾

Toast is a cozy, yet always very busy little diner thst serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. They're open until about one pm and they tend to be busiest (parking all filled up!) on weekends. I had the French toast made with brioche the last time I went and it was heavenly. I gave the service four stars instead of five bc they don't seem to have enough coverage when it's really busy. Other than that, I just love it!

I had one of their weekly specials that was an Eggs Benedict with chorizo and avocado. The home fries had a lot of flavor and so did the hollandaise sauce.
Best restraint of all time

Person at the front counter told me they’ve had their phones off because they didn’t want to take to go orders? There was barely anyone there

Cute breakfast spot with delicious food, fresh ingredients, prompt service, plenty parking and affordable prices. We stood for a while to be seated but were told it’s self seating. Comfy booths.

I called about an hour before closing, but their phone lines were down. I decided to just drive over to grab a sandwich to-go. When I walked in, the woman at the counter was sitting there eating and scrolling on her phone. I mentioned that the phone lines weren’t working, and she casually said it was “on purpose” because they were busy and short-staffed. I get that things can get hectic, but at least make it look like you’re busy—not sitting around on your phone before the restaurant even closes.
I placed my order and stepped outside to grab my wallet, only to come back and find the front door locked—at 12:40, even though they close at 1:00. I called, and she came to unlock it, greeting me with, “Boy, you’re in a good mood, huh?”
I’m sorry, but the audacity to act this lazy and then give attitude to a paying customer is unbelievable. This place used to be a gem, but whoever’s doing the hiring needs to seriously rethink their choices. Rude and lazy staff have completely ruined what was once a great spot. Do yourself a favor and get breakfast somewhere else—this place just isn’t what it used to be.

Good food, friendly atmosphere. Also have decent gluten free options (though not a dedicated GF cook station). Will definitely return.
