It's really disappointing that there is no communication for when it will reopen, or if it will. Every response skirts around it. We know there are other options, everyone does. It's keeping a lot of people from going back there.
The food is great and the price wondering if they will reopen
One of the main reasons to go to Foxwoods is for the buffet. For me, no buffet, why bother going.
Buffet did not look appetizing. Ordered from the menu instead, the food was fresh & delish
When are you opening up my mother and I haven't been to the casino in 2 years can't wait to go back and also eat the buffet
For the last 20 years that know of, my family has been coming to Foxwoods at least weekly from Boston but since the closing of the buffet we haven’t been back because of that. We have spent an exuberant amount of money here for the past two decades and when the buffet comes back so will we. It sucks there has been no communication and a run around as to why it’s closed or if/when it will be open again. It was amazing and I still say it had some of the best food I’ve ever had but since it closed it really makes me not want to go spend money there or stay overnight like we used to.
Why is your buffet still close but every other buffet in the state is opened.
Still closed and simply no communication why. If you will never reopen simply day so. If you will communicate when. If I simply wanted to enjoy the casino there are closer options. The buffet was always the draw for me.
The food there used to be great, the best buffet i had ever been to. The breakfast spread was unreal you could get everything from eggs to ice cream, eat like a king. But then Covid happened and the buffet stopped. The reason for the 1 star is because nobody seems to understand why the buffet at this point has not returned.Every buffet is open, 99% of all restrictions are gone. Covid cases are less frequent than the flu as stated by the cdc but still foxwoods is not normal.Definitely quite concerning and it does make me second guess visiting some times, i have also heard the same from other people as well.Dance clubs open, people maskless, partying, but nope the buffet is closed.
The buffet is still closed. Has been since covid. It's an employee dining room now.May be it will be back by the end of the year

taste better when you win
One of the best buffet places in the country.great service and amazing food.
It seems the buffet doesn't welcome American anymore ? Can't speak or act as American, otherwise you be punished ?
People don't realize how hard it is to serve the public 8 hours a day and keep a smile on your face with a good attitude. Dealing with hundreds of personalities a day takes dedication and patience. I commend these employees, management and servers for their hard work. I work as a cashier in a major retail store and believe me with all the different personalities I deal with a day prayer comes in handy. Foxwood is beautiful and so are the people who work there. Kudos to you! Hope the owner reads this. So he knows many of us appreciate him.
Great eating experience! Great food, great selection and CLEAN! Fine service!
