“Just visiting from out of state (NY) and stopped in late for a bite. Never had a meal at Johnny Rockets. The Mgr., Mike greeted us with a warm smile and seated us. Very friendly and made us feel at home. Our server, Becky was great. Working hard with a smile . Very pleasant to talk to. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Original burger and cheese fries and tuna salad sandwich. Very pleased. Looking forward to eating at Johnny Rockets again in the future”

“Rude young female hostess working there on 7/5 in the afternoon. Give us an attitude and side eye when we asked for booth. Food is great waiter and other service people are very nice. The place wasn't busy and we saw 3 booth table seats open so not sure what the issue was. I would recommend don't let the rude hostess ruine your experience.”

“Get the huge beakers. I know it's like $25 but i don't care!!! They are SO CUTE! The banana and strawberry daiquiris are both vegan and it's my understanding that a lot of the other flavors are too. Every flavor is dairy free so you just need to inquire about the alcohol used”

“Typical Panda Express chain. Can get busy during lunch time and lines form. Garbage can pile up as its not taken out in a timely manner. I think the place is severely understaffed. I feel bad for the workers. Food is ok no complaints, ample serving. We were staying at the nearby Great Wolf Lodge (GWL) . It is quite a walk from there! If you have a small child better bring a stroller. Otherwise you can drive, parking is free. Great for lunch or bring it to go back to the GWL to eat.”

“I stopped here to catch the end of the Eagles game after dinner. The large screen is really cool. We sat down and a server came over right away. We only ordered a couple drinks but our server was still very attentive and checked on us. Overall great spot to watch the game! Go birds! 🏈🦅”

“Ever since my man Phillip has taken over the register, the line moves and food comes out in a reasonable time. Food always correct and delicious. Also, an Asian dude has been working the front too and orders move out the kitchen smooth. Will say, I go early between 5-7pm so maybe that’s why it moves quickly. Always stop by Wing Stop when I spend the night 👍”

“Ate at this restaurant as me and family were staying at the Great Wolf Lodge (GWL). This restaurant is quite a walk from the GWL, if kids cannot walk distances, recommend to bring a stroller. Otherwise you can do a quick drive for 2 minutes, free parking. Food, is alright. Don't expect authentic Asian Chinese food, but scratches that itch. Some dishes are excessively salty, but manageable. Staff is nice and friendly though in my experience. A little bit hard to find as it's tucked in the corner but it's near Hell's Kitchen and Tanger Outlets. A little bit pricey.”

“This was a last minute decision and it was well worth it and I can’t wait to go back. I sat at the bar with no reservations and enjoyed a cocktail that bartender crafted & it was fabulous. For bites I had the grilled shrimp
Skewer and the hummus and bread. The portion size was plenty. I highly suggest trying this great small spot with a menu that needs more five star reviews !”

“The Shipwright's Daughter came highly recommended to us by locals we had talked with while vacationing in Mystic, and it did not disappoint. We booked a reservation for 7:15pm on a Saturday evening, and we were seated promptly at 7:15. From the hosts initial greeting, to our server first introducing herself at the table, every staff member made us feel welcomed. It was lovely. The cocktail my girlfriend ordered and the local draft I ordered were both outstanding. Our appetizers of Oysters on the Half Shell and a Yellowfin Tar Tar served on a Potato Pavé, were both so delicious, full of flavor, and beautiful. Our entrees consisted of the Zucchini Bucatini and the Duck Confit special, and both came out perfect. The seasoning, the cook of the duck, the plating were all immaculate. It's very clear the staff takes pride in their work, and make sure the guests have an outstanding experience. We finished with dessert, a Plum Sorbet Pavlova with a Peach Reduction, an Espresso Martini, and an Irish Coffee. We were finished with our meal and drinks and on our way by 8:20pm. All in all, it was the best experience I've had in a restaurant. The meals were phenomenal, the staff was top tier ( I apologize I can not remember our waitresses name, but she was outstanding), and the overall experience was more than I could have hoped for. If you are traveling to the mystic area, and you want to have an outstanding dining experience, this is the place for it”

“So very disappointed. Was there with a disabled person and treated terribly by customers and wait staff. Food was not good and service was terrible. Have been there previously and had a much better experience. I am not sure what changed but definitely will not go back or recommend this place if the same rude waitress is there. So very disappointed.”

“Just enjoyed amazing cocktails (Gimlet and Curry Barbados) and Nosh (mushrooms had amazing flavor, Korean fried chicken sandwich, salty and delicious, empanadas crisp and yummy) from their Happy Hour menu which is being expanded from 4:00 to 6:00. On Tuesday starting at 6:30 or 7:00 is a jazz quartet which we sadly had to miss but will definitely be back. Our waitress Claire was darling and very informative. Bartender was spectacular!”
