“When we were booking our stay at the Mohegan Sun, I wanted to make reservations for somewhere special and I picked the MJ steakhouse. The MJ steakhouse did not disappoint. Their team of hostesses and waiters were awesome. I had a few of their "air" -spressos (pic attached) which were delicious. My bf and I shared the Flight 23 and an order of their mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. All of the meat was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious as well. Their special dessert of the night was creme brulee and it was to die for! Highly recommend this place!”
“My wife and I were told by family members and friends to try Nino's pizzeria so we finally decided to try it and it didn't disappoint the employees were friendly and offered us a sample piece of pizza which was a nice touch. we ended up ordering the garbage pie pizza without mushrooms (don't let the name fool you it isn't garbage) and it was worth the price we paid well worth traveling the extra miles for .we will definitely be going back again and try some of there other menu items I would recommend Nino's Pizzeria to anyone and if you haven't tried them yet you should .”
“The service couldn't have been better, our waitress was Kelsey and she made our time amazing. She was helpful, patient and overall did an amazing job. We highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Love this "Dive Bar" it plays great country music, has the coldest beer in CT. The bartenders are extremely friendly, prices are awesome. They have music Fri/Sat/Sundays...call ahead to confirm. The owners are awesome, and the clientele is always friendly...I drove 20 miles to have a cold beer...it's that great place to just hang!!! Pool table a plus!”
“These donuts are deliciously made and always fresh. Staff is always courteous and fast moving. This location is convenient get go wrong getting a half dozen before you head to the garage.”
“This is a fun, old fashioned, down to earth bar, which is becoming rarer these days. They have country dancing lessons, pool, and dart boards. The food is simple bar food which is a fun guilty pleasure once in a while. The bartenders are really nice and as well as the people who go there.”
“This was our first time eating here. The atmosphere is modern and clean. Food is ordered at the counter and then brought out to you. Our burgers where excellent and cooked perfect. Our fries where portioned well. The beer was cold. Not much more to say. It’s a high end burger joint. If I had one complain is that it’s a bit pricey but it’s located in the casino and everything is at a premium. Also in the past year I feel anywhere you go to eat has become much more expensive”
“I was at the Casino for my daughter's event. We decided to grab sushi for lunch. Sushi Koya was great. We were seated and waited on immediately. Our wattress was both extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great and served quickly. Portion sizes were good. Plating was nice and pricing was average.”
“Very cool feel to a sports bar. Server was super cool, and informative... open to answering lots of stupid questions about the local area. I had wings; they were a little overcooked, but delicious.”
“Love this place. Gone to it a few times up until yesterday, my son's birthday weekend. So it was the first time in the arcade area and when we stumbled at the karaoke room which had a very small sign saying it needed to be reserved. The red head worker came in aggressively instead of kindly letting us know about it being having to be reserved , she continously told us "get out" atleast 5xs and until I OPENED MY MOUTH SHE WANTED TO APOLOGIZE. I will be returning beautiful definitely don't want her helping me nor my kids.”
“Food: Delicious and authentic dim sum. Came on a Sunday morning and it was not too busy. Food came out fairly quickly.Atmosphere: Typical noisiness for a dim sum place. Modern decor and clean aesthetics.”
“Fish & Chips at Landsdowne Irish Pub & Music House in the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino. Fast friendly service and a full bar. Food was good. Live musician playing oldies hits. Just gotta love a good Irish Pub!”
“Place was very pleasant looking upon arrival. Not very crowded. First put in a very tiny spot one had a nice soft bench seat the other person would have a hard chair. Being the person that would be stuck in the chair and not having a sore back at the time I asked if they had a small both or something similar. She said all they had were larger sized booths and would that be okay? Of course we were grateful and took her up on the offer. We looked over the menu and you can order reasonable or expensive. My husband started off with the clam chowder and I started off with clam fritters. His clam chowder was very tasty but on the watery side he said. My clam fritters were excellent. Just perfect cooked not burnt and super moist with actual clams inside. We both had oysters. The Mystic, Big Rock and Rhode Island. I can't believe how good these were. Perfect brine on each one. Very clean, perfectly shucked and meaty. Nice brine to every one. Next out was the steamer clams. Perfectly cooked. Nice and clean. Not one bit of sand in any of them. The taste however was not strong. Almost nonexistent same with the butter I was dipping it into. I still enjoyed them. My husband's ordered the whole belly clams. What came out looked more like a clam strip with a beginning pregnancy lol. Had the look hard to find the belly. After he mentioned it our server how we really couldn't see if they strips or whole belly. She said I can see the belly. However she told her manager who offered a replacement which he didn't want at that point so they just graciously removed the order from our bill. Our servers name was Ashley and she was very pleasant to work with. I wanted a hard seltzer. The only one available is Truly Berry on tap. Tasted fine but I had it with ice in a glass so I sure didn't get as much as someone who had it with no ice. Next time I'm going to ask for a glass of ice on the side. I will definitely return for the fritters and oyster's!! Never felt rushed. Orders came out as planned.”
“Sat in dining room for family night out and ordered off that menu as opposed to take-out / food court option. Was delicious and I’ve been to some top Chinese restaurants. Not sure why only 3.5 stars, should avg. 4-4.5 at least. Granted I did not go to the take-out / food court section so idk but I assume its similar food.General Tso’s was great, as were pan fried dumplings, wonton soup, house special fried rice and beef with broccoli. Large family size portions which was great for 4 of us. Attentive friendly service. Not from this area and don’t know what other options there are there for Chinese, but I would certainly go back if at this hotel, which by the way is beautiful.”
“We live in N.J. and did a little family get away with my Daughter & her Fiance. My Family & I enjoyed our experience @Via Emilia . It was one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been to, All four of us enjoyed our meals. My husband is writing a more detailed review .”
““Sodelicious Food Truck” the Best in Frappe Fruit Drinks & Acai,???with excellent service I recommend them to stop by!!!, located in the marina of Downtown Norwich ”
“Many restaurants will charge high prices to create an aura of quality and fine dining, only to disappoint when it comes down to eating. Shipwright's Daughter is not that place. The prices are on the high side but wow, do they deliver. Four adults, four very different entrees and everyone left with all smiles. My beef strip loin was cooked perfectly and everything that accompanied it was tasty. Some signature cocktails were discounted for the 5 - 6 pm happy hour and were, again, delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive without overtaking the conversation. If your taste buds deserve a holiday this place is worth a visit.”
“A lot bigger inside than it looks from the out side and it is a wonderful location on the waterfront. The food was fantastic as well as our server. Thank you will be ”
“I'm not a local, but visiting from Las Vegas a few times over the last year. I've stopped here every visit and have never been disappointed by the service or food. Truly amazing people and food here.”
“Made a quick stop here for Dinner. Food quality was excellent. Good portion sizes for entrees and appetizers. Service staff were friendly and quick to help with any questions. Place had a decent ambiance. Overall good experience with food and service.”
“Delicious food with a decent sized menu. We loved the 1/2 chicken, veggie rice and the empanadas. We finished with one of the best tasting flans I have had. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. They were will to answer any questions we had and explain the dishes.”
“I tried Vincitori for the first time and the Shepherds pizza was DELICIOUS! The pork was amazing and the pineapple and salsa added a great touch on the taste buds. I wish this could stay on the menu forever! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be trying this place again.”
“What a gem of a place. All their desserts looked amazing. Just couldn’t decide what to pick so we just ordered a variety of items for the entire family. The consensus was that we have to go back again for more.”
“Insanely good Indian food. I love their vegetable biryani! Their prices are also reasonable and the service is excellent as well. I left well fed and feeling great. Highly recommend if you're in the area or just travelling by on 95.”
“When Pigs Fly is a great breakfast location offering new breakfast specials every week and they have a Coffee Bar! Yup unlimited pour your own coffee buffet. Special pancakes and french toast are my go-to they bake the French toast breads in house and usually have seasonal flavors. Must try if you are in the area they also have a sister restaurant in Mystic, Connecticut named “Somewhere In Time cafe” if that's closer to your stay. Be prepared to wait in lines on the weekend. This place is very popular with the locals. But overall great breakfast”
“We had a lovely time . Clara was amazing , explained the menu and drink options very sweet. Also very hygenic she left our table spotless after every round of food also very patient.. We where there for 1.5 hours. It happened to be happy hour, but the atmosphere was very laid back ,chill. The Pupusas are authentic the drinks are unique and tasty. All the food we ate was really good. It was a nice getaway from Boston. Really nice place. I felt classy for once! Ha”
“I loved this restaurant. It is a fun and lively environment. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the sea scallop risotto and the lamb chops as our main courses, they were both fantastic. For appetizers we got the ricotta bruschetta and white sauce mussels, also very good. The wait for our food was quite long but it was a busy night.”
“This place is a solid breakfast place. I was surprised they open at 5am. As I sat and ate my spicy omelette I saw numerous people come and go. Many I noticed were regulars and were greeted by 1st name. Meals came out fast.”
“One of the best restaurants in Mystic. Unfortunately after they renovated they got rid of the complementary bread and cornbread, but there food has consistently been fantastic. There service is usually slow though.”
“I came back to Tom's today and forgot how much I missed this place. Andrea and Steve took great care of me, and so did Lisa even though she wasn't my server. This level of service is a rarity. I'll be back sooner rather than later!”
