“Excellent bar with a surprising food selection. Have been going here for years. Same look inside. Rustic. Delicious Southwestern Salad with grilled chicken. Perfectly cooked chicken, crisp lettuce, better than any sit down restaurant. Great venue for bands, including Aquanett who gave a great concert on 4/18/26.“

“This was our first time in Mystic and first time in Friar Tuck’s Tavern and we highly recommend it!! Had a great time at the Trivia night on Monday (free to play), with a great food and beer selection.
As I struggled to decide on so many great options including daily specials, the very competent and friendly Clara recommended their Reuben sandwich which was FANTASTIC!! So now I can also highly recommend this and the fries were superb too.

“Outstanding hot quality food with large quantities, quick service, a diverse large menu, nice people, and did I say the food was great. I only give it a 4 because the day we were there, there were several flies that were bothersome. Not sure they can control that, but it affected the experience. But I’d for sure go back - just for take out.“

On April 10, I was served by Aaliyah not only was she very thorough with the confirmation of our orders she was very attentive and flexible around her tables, making sure everybody had what they needed. She has an outstanding attitude, always had a smile on her face Even when she wasn’t at our table“

“Wasn't bad on flavor but food came out almost cold. Seeing how there were only 2 other tables sat in the whole restaurant I expected hot food. Friendly helpful treatment from all servers. Glad they had UFC playing on one of the screens.“
