Having been a customer for over 10 years, I was quite disappointed when on Feb.18, 2024 when we went at 3pm when the restaurant opened and very few people were there at the time, that Ballo’s would not accommodate my dietary request. We sat down ordered iced teas and ended up leaving after paying for our drinks.On that day, I went to order chicken Francese and asked that the garlic be omitted. Beautiful restaurant with elegant, castle-like atmosphere tucked inside of Mohegan Sun. Always very busy, so be sure to get a reservation. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts (Tiramosi and more) is excellent. Must try the cheese wheel when you visit, they light it up and pour the cheese right on top of the pasta. so Ballo used to be our favorite place to eat while staying at Mohegan Sun. This past weekend was my husband's birthday so I made reservations for dinner. My margarita tasted like water flavored with lime and a drop of tequila. We were told they no longer bring bread to the table but we can purchase bread as an appetizer!?? Whattt?
