“This is the cutest little place off the beaten path! The pizza is A+, the service is top notch and the bartender is a kindest person! He greeted every customer promptly, explained all the beers in great length and made wonderful recommendations. We will be back!”
“Wow!!!❤️ Great food!!! Hidden gem!!! Hands down, the best steaks we have ever had! Amazing service, unbelievable presentation, abundant serving, excellent food! It was our first trip there for our anniversary referred to by word of mouth and we were not disappointed!!!! The owner worked the floor with his crew, cleared some dishes, and I didn't realize he was the owner until later! Make sure to get a reservation for dinner at this bustling wonderful Italian restaurant!!! Amazing! We will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level entrance.”
“Excellent PIZZA, I really love triple pepperoni pizzas with onion and green peppers well done..... I ordered one from there last night...it was so delicious, they use quality pepperoni so it's not all greasy. They gave me a well done pizza that was not burned, it was cooked perfectly on a 1-5 scale it's a 10. The atmosphere is homey, very clean nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable just the same. I forgot to take pics of my pizza but I will next timeKid-friendliness: Bring the kids, outdoor picnic tables available”
“Subway is subway, it's mediocre food but sometimes that's what I want, this particular subway does always tend to be better than others I've eaten at and when I tend to stop in only on certain days of the week the employees are always welcoming and friendly and always make a well structured sandwich, couldn't ask for more when going into a subway.”
“It's good pizza. I've had same quality pizza at other locations for less. I've also paid more for worse. It was neat to see a place that had Hollywood hostory.”
“Was in town due to work and didn’t want fast food , so glad I took the time to stop and get take out from here . By far the best sesame chicken I’ve had. I also got a order of the crab Rangoon and was blown away with how good it tasted! Will come back if I’m ever in town again!”
“Matches Tavern is one Foxwood's little known gems. Delicious casual fare at reasonable prices in an elegant, dark wood pub style atmosphere. It is actually across the street from the casino in the down stairs of the Golf Club House. Ariana was our server. Friendly and professional. I had the Chicken and Bacons sandwich with Fries for $16.95. Great tasting & well priced. I highly recommend this place.”
“Great place! Quaint breakfast or lunch spot with great service and food was served fresh hot and delicious!! We had pancakes and some egg sandwiches. We were stuffed and very satisfied!! Will revisit for”
“I get a pizza from here every time I'm here the pizza is pretty good and they are quick at doing it.My only complaint is the dipping sauces are trash but that's a corporate issue and not a local store issue”
“Very good bacon egg and cheese on a croissant, iced coffee with caramel and my favorite Boston cream donut love them as far as the atmosphere goes tough to tell when I'm going through the drive-”
“This is a combined Johnny Pastrami/Nathan's hotdogs. the hotdog was a-ok, and not too expenseive if you bought a pair. The nice guy also had a free/leftover/extra lemon aid that hit the spot. the gas store it is part of had popcorn, which was wrongly, but nicely done (i.e. slihgtly overcooked with slightly too much salt and oil). a nice find, but unexpected.”
“Decent midway coffee break b/w NYC and Boston. Even though they advertised a coupon they wouldn't honor it and I had to order via mobile app to apply coupon typical Dunkin, hence 4/5”
“We live in N.J. and did a little family get away with my Daughter & her Fiance. My Family & I enjoyed our experience @Via Emilia . It was one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been to, All four of us enjoyed our meals. My husband is writing a more detailed review .”
“I had the Chicken Piccata. It was cooked perfectly & crispy. The sauce was light, but flavorful. Excellent service,in a pristine & clean atmosphere. The cheese cake was light and delicious. Looking forward to returning again sometime.Parking: Large open parking lot, right in front of restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in & open spaces to navagate.”
“Truly the best dining experience there is. From the food to the service everything is exceptional. We came here for the first time for a birthday celebration and it instantly became our favorite restaurant. Last week, we had an intimate wedding reception in their private room after our ceremony. Our family and friends were as impressed as we have always been, everything was executed perfectly and KJ ( who happened to be our server at our first visit as well ) was wonderful. Shipwrights will always be special to my husband and I. I will continue to recommend it to anyone who is willing to listen.”
“We had a delightful lunch for my Mothers 85th birthday! We started with the clams casino, which looked like a lunch size portion and they were delicious. Then we both got the salmon with brussels sprout hash, which was outstanding. Enjoyed it all with a very generous pour of Sancere. Can't wait to come back to Dog Watch!”
“Amazing cider with creative and yummy flavors. Great atmosphere fun games and I love the local art on the walls. Always a pleasure to go here. Also always love to support local businesses.”
“Tables and buffet area were clean and presentable. Food selection was good. Pancakes were delicious. The parfait bar was great as well. Service was great Shadell was very attentive and nice.”
“What a great fresh option to have that's quick in and out. Delicious build your own salad. Im not a local just visiting but wish we had a place like this near me!”
“Great little bakery for a quick scone, muffins & fabulous cupcakes! Outside window pickup only until the warm weather comes. I got the last strawberry, chocolate chip scone with a chai latte & delicious as always!Parking: You can park in back of building if you are just taking it to go!”
“Wonderful dinner. Taylor, our server, was very welcoming and attentive. The 70s Old Fashioned was delicious. Very unctous and cheesy French Onion soup broth. I ordered the mussels and the Chile tomato broth was phenomenal. Hints of cumin, coriander, and all spice! The sour dough bread was dough and crusty. I ordered a side of French fries which were of steakhouse quality. This meal was one of the best that I've had in the Stonington/Mystic/Westerly area.”
“THIS restaurant! Just WOW! Just when you think Stonington, Pawcatuck, and Mystic don’t need another delicious eatery…. Here comes Reds with mind-blowing food! Everything is made in-house, including their sausage, biscuits, and jam and nothing disappoints! Come here, enjoy it and experience it yourself!”
“I’m a Mystic local, and I used to have to go to Providence or New Haven for a real cocktail bar. No longer. Port of Call is just as good if not better than any in those towns, and there is simply nothing else like it in New London County, CT.”
“I loved this restaurant. It is a fun and lively environment. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the sea scallop risotto and the lamb chops as our main courses, they were both fantastic. For appetizers we got the ricotta bruschetta and white sauce mussels, also very good. The wait for our food was quite long but it was a busy night.”
“Great food. Great coffee. Great Atmosphere. It's Saturday morning and busy but the lone moves fast and you still have a cozy atmosphere without feeling crowded.Love it!! ❤️??”
“I am literally obsessed with this place. I came here once with my boyfriend because I was in the mill and was feeling hungry and we sat at the bar and the service was amazing the bartender was super friendly. The veggie burger and drinks were fantastic. Then I came here last night during their pop up pizza night completely on accident and I loved it. The pizza was perfect and they had merch I had to purchase because it was so cute! If I was still a server I would 100% try to work here because the vibes are amazing :)”
“Good, but overrated. Good things to order are cookies, entremets, and bread, but would avoid croissants. I think Young Buns (same owner) is better, even if not as well known.”
“One of the best restaurants in Mystic. Unfortunately after they renovated they got rid of the complementary bread and cornbread, but there food has consistently been fantastic. There service is usually slow though.”
“great ice cream friendly worker's!Wheelchair accessibility: they have a ramp wide enough to get a chair up there but it's a little bit steep but plenty of room.”
“This was our time eating at the Tin Peddler and we were very impressed. For our dinner date, the food, the service and the atmosphere were all great. The noise level was a bit too high, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, so I guess that's good. Definitely will be back.”
