“The tuna salad grinder really did it for me. For 6.50, it was a fat sandwich and just the perfect amount of salt and pepper for a really good lunch. I had never had a Bismarck before and the cream and jelly spread on the insides was a genius combination in a pillowy donut stick. The grinder came with provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. A perfect and generous portion. They accept both cash and card.”

“I love this place. Pace of play always seems to be reasonable. The conditions are more than adequate for the price. Pretty gettable layout, but some unexpected challenges can bite you (looking at you, #7 and #8). The rock-hard greens in the summer are venomous for those of us who like to play airborne golf. A couple of weeks ago, we shared the slow cooked beef stew for an appetizer and W O W ! ! Fabulous! We have never had a bad meal there, which is why we are regulars. “I visited Nashville, TN last year with friends, and have been trying to find a similar spicy chicken sandwich. I stopped by the Tin Peddler in North Stonington after work for takeout and decided to try the "Nashville Chicken", with tangy slaw, pickles, kewpie mayo, and a homemade bun. It was everything I could have imagined in the first bite. Spicy and delicious! The fries were an added bonus. Looking forward to going back with friends to try more items on the menu.”

“Parking across street large lot. Chairs tables front of restaurant before you walk in. Bathroom to right as you walk in. Hostess to left. Get a seat closer to the bar area. Views are magical. Outside another dozen or more tables and a bar. So no need to worry about space. But as the season kicks in make a reservation. Prices are inexpensive for the shore. Food is excellent. Drinks prices reasonable. Good beer choices and mixed drinks.”

From the atmosphere, the drink selection, the food, the staff, etc.I send all of my clients, family, and friends to High Hope Tavern.I love the lighting the most. My favorite seat is to sit near the cozy fireplace or we love sitting at the bar. The bartenders are all amazing and friendly.I highly recommend the Roasted Oysters, Devils on Horseback, and the Raw Oysters.. you can never go wrong with their Risotto that they change often or the Tavern Burgers. Their fries are also amazing with the garlic aioli.The live music on Thursdays is always a treat. Shane is very talented.Christine is the sweetest hostess who greets everyone as if they are family.”

The best burger in town for sure and their sourdough is out of this world delicious. The menu changes often with a few staples so you’re never bored and can always try something new. “We visit Westerly from the West Coast every few months and always pop into Stick + Fin. The coffee is great, if you get a latte it isn't too milky like it is at a lot of other places, americanos are on point. The staff is super friendly. Also the toasts are yum. And usually there is some reggae blasting. Also, we are vegan and it is nice to have a place in Westerly with options. “We hired Pompelmo Gelato to cater dessert for our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. Melanie was kind, professional, and excellent at communication. We went in to the shop for a tasting and were blown away with how delicious all the different flavors were. We had a hard time narrowing it down to only four flavors. The gelato cart was adorable and a huge hit to all our guests.”

“Have been here many times and mostly wonderful experiences. But most recent visit left a bitter taste in my mouth with the manager/hostess being extremely rude to my party. The phrase "this isn't that kind of place" when asking if possible to turn a 4 top into a 5 top. Wait staff and food was excellent.”

“Shunock River Brewery And River Cafe stands out because it is inclusive to everyone- no weird looks that I noticed to me or other segregated groups and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.This place’s hours range from the earliest to latest dinners, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The food is very affordable and if reviewed, I have no doubt that Michelin would give it a “Bib Gourmand” badge. This place is well known for their pizza and for a good reason- pizza is made inside a historic brick column with many ingredients being local.All minors in my family were given delicious cookies upon entry. Not one employee there was even slightly bitter and half the employees were smiling even without guests around. Unique brewery made beer available on tap. Smoking guidelines are unclear and unenforced. Live music occurs twice a week. If you come here consider joining the “mug club” it is a subscription where you have a designated chilled mug that is easy to get to and you can get free beers!Food just as good as environment and all food is made after order.Summary: get your butt up and come here”

“You get what you pay for and at Buttonwood you're getting very fresh ice cream that is locally made along with some tremendous flavors and you're paying a premium price for it. Cheap ice cream comes with a cheap price and you can find that in the freezer section of your local grocery store. The staff are always kind and they do their best to keep the lines moving, which can get very long in the summer months. They offer sundaes as well as waffle cones and traditional cones and bowls. The atmosphere is fantastic because you're outside, enjoying the beautiful views of their fields and very often watching the cows walk around eating the grass while you enjoy ice cream with your family or friends.”

“This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered a meatball Samzone, a pepperoni pizza, and an Italian Stallion. The meatball samzone was excellent, great crust and very nice flavor. The pizza was very good, a nicely done crust and nice sauce. The Italian Stallion was for my neighbor and he and his two kids loved it. It was an hour old when they got it and they still thoroughly enjoyed it. And the owner Jen, was a really nice person and certainly added to the experience. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 9.1.”
