A dinner at Longo reminds me of visiting my Nani for her old school Italian homemade cooking. The one issue is I stare at the menu for too long because I can't decide what to order! Everything is fresh and delicious. Salute!
This is the best Italian food you will find in Rhode Island. Never rushed, great portion size, unreal flavor. Longos never disappoints
Absolutely amazing experience! Planning a secret 80th birthday celebration for my father from 200 miles away in NJ, they made this event memorable in many ways. Jerry, Alyssa, and the whole family and staff went over the top. They provided us with a dedicated area and servers that didn’t miss a step. Longo Ristorante offers a warm, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere, though the open dining area can be a bit loud. The service is generally excellent, attentive, friendly, and polite, with staff accommodating special requests. The food is consistently excellent, fresh, delicious, and homemade. Standout dishes include the excellent meatballs, the decadent Italian donuts, the Longo pizza, chicken parmigiana, Caesar salad, and the Seafood pasta special. Cocktails are great and the wine list, while small, is varied. Despite being busy, food is delivered quickly and piping hot. Most guests are very pleased and highly recommend the restaurant, with many planning to return.
