Longo’s never disappoints!!! The staff is attentive and hard working! The food is always delicious but have to save room for the donuts for dessert ❤️. I highly recommend trying it… they get busy on weekends so I always make a reservation.Thank you Jerry and staff!

I was extremely excited to try this restaurant after hearing nothing but good things about it. I came in on a night when 75% of the tables were empty with two of my girl friends. There were easily twice as many staff members as patrons; I would estimate probably fifteen employees and seven guests. After waiting at the hostess stand for five minutes with no acknowledgement from any of the employees I decided to take my business elsewhere. Talk about feeling invisible. As a business owner the first thing I teach is that no matter how busy you are - you stop to greet your customer. For a night when it was dead slow I was very disappointed. The employees then watched me walk away (might I add two of them were sitting at the bar enjoying their comp meal). Sadly this is the second time I have not even been able to try the restaurant. Last time I drove over there was a paper note on the door that they would be closing early. I walked back over from the hibachi restaurant to take the pic so you can see all the employees standing about and that the restaurant is empty except for a couple of patrons. I wanted my review to be airtight because I know how people can be ?
1st timers at Longo Ristorante & Pizzeria. Made a reservation and table was ready when we arrived. Enjoyed a wonderful meal including 2 of the specials. The meatball appetizer is delicious. Also enjoyed the house spiked seltzer. The staff surprised us with a dessert & candle to celebrate our daughters birthday. We will go back.

We sat at the bar and had horrible service... Never brought my wine, when I reminded him he said oh I didn't know you ordered anything?? Clearly we had a conversation about drink orders. Then again with dinner he never brought our salad; once again he said oh I didn't know you ordered a salad, when we had a conversation with him telling him we wanted it as an appetizer and asked him if we could put our dinner orders in as well. And he said sure. The young man was clearly not focused. Pizza was a bit on the soggy side, not as crisp a crust. My friend had a chicken dish she said was very good. Usually have a better experience at Longo's just not this time.

Excellent downtown atmosphere reminded me of the North End in Boston, with similarly excellent Italian cuisine. We shared the special appetizer, 3 meatball sliders. Each slider was a large meatball stuffed with cheese and parsley on what seemed like a pretzel roll. DELICIOUS! We very seriously considered just getting a few plates of those sliders and calling it a day, but the entree offerings had already caught our attention: My wife got the Gnocchi Sorrentina which was filling, flavorful and unique (for her) as she'd never had gnocchi before. In a day that started in the teens and ended around freezing it was a perfect dish for a cold day. I got a classic spaghetti and meatballs dish. Apparently I'm in good company because the actor Richard Jenkins (the dad from "Step-brothers") who's apparently a regular, and I both list this as a favorite. The sauce was hearty and thick, the noodles cooked to perfection, and the gigantic meatballs were moist and just like the slider appetizer, filled with delicious cheese and parsley. Yeah, kinda pedestrian but you can't beat a well made spaghetti and meatball dish when you're HONGRY (with an "O") and cold. Our server Jessica was very pleasant, offering great suggestions, giving outstanding service and attention. Thanks Jessica! We had a great time and now count this as yet another go-to place for great food and spirits in Westerly!

The pizza is amazing- my faves, so far: South Philly & Little Italy! Pasta & meatballs are wonderful. Last night, my husband & I each had that night's special- Lobster Ravioli- so good. The wine selection is great, my husband just like Stella but their drink option look tasty. If you have room for dessert, you definitely have to try the Italian donuts... mmmmm sooooo yummy!

Great atmosphere, our server was very attentive and pleasant. We had the chicken Francais served on a bed of Parmesean risotto , no need for a knife it was so tender,absolutely outstanding! For a starter, we had the calamari, tender, seasoned perfectly , again outstanding!
The owner was on board and very attentive to each meal leaving the kitchen. All of our food was perfectly prepared. We actually dined there twice in the same week and will be returning frequently in the future. I highly recommend the Chicken Francese, Bonn Appétit.

Quaint and eclectic place that make perfect Italian food. Had the meatballs that they are known for, delicious. Escarole and beans, delicious with a perfect hit of garlic. The Spaghetti Carbonara was excellent. A dish that can destroy a restaurant. Best I've had since I was last in Italy. Highly recommend.

Longos never disappoints! We had a party of six for NYE dinner and everything was perfect! From the meatball salad, to escarole and beans to our entrees. Mamas lasgna was a special and it certainly was! Capped off with a cappuccino and Italian donuts, perfecto! Jerry and Alyssa and the crew make it seem like home!
