So for Episode 144, I did something different. I went back to where it all started. I parked the car. Looked at my old house. And I walked… just like I used to… straight to Manny’s. And what I found? Found this little gem and the ice cream I got (lemon meringue) was SO good I asked if I could buy a pint! It was so creamy and flavorful, I was sad we live over 40 min out otherwise I’d be here almost every day! Good excuse to go golfing and then stop by for a treat, so we have a great excuse to come back! Great flavors and reasonable price.”

“A neat little pub in a nice looking area of Norwich. I had a beef sandwich and a few beers. The sandwich was good and the drinks were cheap. I would recommend if you're looking for a bite.

They also advertised an all you can eat seafood event on Saturdays and I wish I had stopped in for that.”

“Called Mei's tonight for a take-out order before 8 pm. Whomever answered the phone wasn't custom service oriented, or very friendly. Don't get me wrong, that place has good food. I decided to cancel my order immediately so they wouldn't waste their food, and we ordered from Mr.Pan's. The food is comparable, and the people are very friendly on the phone. I spent decades in sales and customers service. Just not a great experience. Mr. Pan's....very solid chinese food. Exceptional Wonton soup. Very friendly people!”

The amount of effort that goes into their coffee is evident the first time you taste it, and on the tour I gained a greater appreciation for the skill and attentiveness required to make great coffee (we even roasted some and took it home with us).
