Baker's Dozen of Norwich Reviews
I work at the Pomfret Baker’s Dozen, so I’ve had my fair share of coffee — but my visit to the Chaplin location absolutely blew me away! The coffee was perfect (hands down the best I’ve ever had), and the manager at the window made it with such care. Friendly service, smooth coffee, and the kind of attention to detail that makes you want to come back every day. Great job, Chaplin team! ☕👏
The Gales Ferry team is absolutely amazing! Everyone is so friendly, and the coffee is consistently delicious. I love letting the staff surprise me with how they make my coffee — and it never disappoints. Thank you all for always starting my day off right (and yes, sometimes I even come back for a second cup because it’s just that good!).

Baker's Dozen of Norwich is a coffee spot located inside a gas station, often found at the Norwichtown location. The restaurant is clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Coffee is wonderful and pretty good, though some drinks can be hit or miss, sometimes tasting watered down. The bagels, sandwiches, and muffins look good, with jalapeño cheddar bagels being a standout. Donuts are excellent, and muffins make Dunkin’s look pathetic. The Eggnog Espresso is a favorite seasonal drink. The main drawback is the lack of a seating area, making it a grab-and-go stop, and the drive thru can be ridiculously slow. Customers appreciate the sweet staff, amazing drinks, and good breakfast sandwiches, finding it better than Dunkin without the price of Starbucks. Overall, it is a very nice little spot for when on the run, earning a strong 9.1 out of 10.
