“Unbelievably fantastic beer and dining. They have the best grilled oysters in New England. Pair it up with Effed Up On Pilz and you will be in Heaven. They even have Effed Up On Pilz shirts that are a one of a kind. You have to check it out.“
“We happen to come across this place one evening while out doing errands. it certainly was a great find, the staff was so friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in the door to when we left. The menu has a really good selection and something for everybody but not so large that it gets you confused. The seafood was extremely fresh and delicious. Also nicely decorated and very clean. We will definitely be back.“
“This is a great choice for vegan food. Vegetables are great and there's always rice. It's like going home to eat. There is always something interesting. I can't find okra anywhere else in CT. The beef is so tender! The spices are perfect and not overwhelming. I have to drive 30 minutes to get there but it's worth it. Portions are large, I have lunch for two days. Yep, I highly recommend Mommy's.“
“EVERYTIME I go the staff is friendly and efficient. Food is always great. I will continue to come here for many different dishes, from pizzas & calzones to wraps and pasta dishes. Irene’s special pasta, yum! Buffalo chicken wrap, delicious. Pizza & calzones always fresh & hot to order. Happy to be close enough to order here or eat in. Great family owned and run.“
“I have not had a cheesesteak in a long while, and I have never before stopped in despite knowing it was here for a long time now.I grabbed "The Doctor" and added mushrooms and mayo. I have to say, this was a darn good cheesesteak. Well seasoned, bread was perfect - super soft but still had chew. Pretty friggen legit!.. but I have to take a star off for the soft fries, another 30seconds to a minute and they would have been perfect. I wouldn't have minded waiting. Not really a place to sit and eat anymore. Seemed busy with orders though. I'll definitely come back to satisfy my cheesesteak craving, the sammys are definitely worth it!“
“Great beer selection. There were some I just love, and some I don't care to try again, which means something for every beer aficionado. Had a scrumptious hamburger, and a few bites of the can piled nachos. Just great food, plus the staff is friendly and competent. A lovely evening with friendly people.“
“Always love the authentic food they serve with love and smiles that you taste in the food!! They have everything from appetizers (wings, Empañadas, and fries), breakfast (sandwich, pancakes, omelets),lunch (burger, grilled cheese, soup), and dinners (bistec encebollado, rice and beans, pork shoulder, platanos). Also dessert (flan, trés leche cake) and pastry (apple Danish)“
“Definitely a good atmosphere. Went on New Year's eve eve, they had karaoke and a champagne toast at midnight. I will definitely be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is accessible also a separate handicapped restroom in the ladies room.“
“The one thing that really struck me when I first started going there about six years ago was the multi racial clientele so you get to meet people from all around the world really and almost all of them are really nice. If you are there and you have a chance to meet Pete the owner one thing really likes is people coming up from behind him and just grabbing his shoulders and shaking him and telling him how great a place he has. Believe me he’ll never forget you for it. And if you’re into playing pool this is the place to be, they have one 6’ foot table and 3 9’foot tables and they’re all free to play just make sure you buy at least a beer it’s not a rule but it’s just common courtesy.“
“The Friendly's in norwich conn. Is great. Haven't been to one since they closed them all. Found this one by chance. Good food specials for seniors and a sundae free with some meals. Good choices for all eaters. I grew up with a Friendly's when I was little, A lot for banana splits and awful awful Shakes on Friday nites. I missed them when they closed so many. I really enjoyed it and it brought back good memories.“
“Stopped here for lunch with my family. All the food was super fresh and delicious. The bathroom wasn't very clean and could use some updating. But the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely return!“
“I didn't think I'd be a fan of 99 Restaurants, but to my surprise, I actually was! My coworker suggested we pick up lunch there and we ended up going two days in a row. The menu has tons of options, so there's truly something for everyone. The food isn't overly flavorful, but everything was cooked well. My favorite thing I tried was the Boneless Wings, delicious! When we came to pick up our food, they didn't have any plastic utensils in stock, so they gave us legit silverware! We didn't stay to eat, but the place looked alright, nothing fancy, and a bit outdated. There aren't a ton of non fast food options in the area outside of the casino, so this is a decent option for something else.“
“Had a great experience at the Fat Cat Grill! Had a bus tour of 54 ladies stop in for lunch, prearranged, and Ravi and his staff were on the ball. The place was clean, the food was excellent, and the 2 waitresses worked their tail off. Every one of us enjoyed our food and our time there. They had no problem taking care of women with food sensitivities. I even heard compliments on how clean the bathroom was there. I hope he's still open next year when we come around again! Thanks Ravi!“
“We stopped in for a late evening dinner and sat at the bar! Elena was most attentive and friendly! The place was small and inviting with a full open kitchen for customers to view! Surprisingly the kitchen wasn't noisy and the food was absolutely delicious! I love to enjoy octopus and I will state that this Peruvian octopus was the most tender I have ever had! I can't wait to return.“
