“I had a great experience here, especially considering it was late at night. The staff welcomed me when I walked in and treated me just like any other customer, which I appreciated.

The ice cream was delicious, and the staff were knowledgeable about the products. They were able to answer my questions about different flavors and provide helpful information about the flavor profiles, which made choosing something much easier.

One thing that really stood out to me was the staff's work ethic. During slower periods, I noticed everyone staying productive—cleaning, organizing, and taking care of other tasks rather than sitting around on their phones. That may seem like a small thing, but it made a very positive impression.

The cherry flavor I chose had a natural, enjoyable flavor and didn't have the overly artificial taste I've experienced with some other ice creams. The portion size was appropriate for the price, and I felt the overall pricing was reasonable.

Overall, great service, good-quality ice cream, reasonable prices, and a staff that clearly takes pride in keeping the place running well.

What really sets Trophy Room apart, though, are the bartenders—especially Olivia and Allison. These two are absolute stars behind the bar. They’re not only incredibly skilled at crafting top-notch cocktails, but they also bring such good energy to the place. “As a celiac family, we are SO glad to have a breakfast option within driving distsnce, and it just so happens to have excellent food and service. We have been multiple times, my son has never had an issue with gluten contamination and we have always enjoyed the experience. “I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“I had breakfast here yesterday. It was my first visit. The atmosphere is lovely. More importantly, the waitress we had was very upbeat and really seemed to enjoy her job. She was always right there to see if we needed anything, refill our cups, take away it plates, etc. The food was very good and plentiful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will be c definitely returning even though it's 35 minutes from my home. It's worth the drive.“

“Hands down one of the best college bars around! The energy here is exactly what you want on a night out at UConn. Great music, packed dance floor, and a fun crowd every time. The drinks are affordable (huge plus for college students), and the bartenders are quick and friendly even when it’s busy.

“my goodness! still savoring my gorgonzola steak salad from last night... was a special on the menu...served with balsamic dressing...I opted for Bleu cheese dressing instead...I get this everywhere, when possible and WITHOUT A DOUBT THE ABSOLUTE BEST steak gorgonzola salad I have ever had! Steak was cooked to absolute perfect and extremely tasty...as was the house made Bleu cheese. probably the best steak I've ever had. 5 stars hand down! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
