“Solid food and great atmosphere. The fish really was cooked beautifully and the staff was top notch. Yummy fish and chips.Today we had a couple of apps and they were quite tasty. Calamari was really solid and my buddy got the Buffalo shrimp. They had a special swordfish entree with Lobster risotto and it was really quite tasty. Solid work per usual.Delicious clam soup and salmon dish. The spetzel (sp) was fun and unexpected. Also decent pours for your gin on the rocks. Bombay would be proud. A little heavier handed would be appreciated but better than many places. The burger looked great and the chicken parm was large and tasty. “GREAT MEAL, GREAT SERVICE & GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!This was our first visit to The Beamhouse... we will definitely be back!!Our party shared a few appetizers, salads and Pizza!! All were so flavorful... amazing!! The pizza was perfectly cooked in their brick oven!The Chefs definitely used the freshest ingredients!Our main meals included mushroom risotto and fish and chips! Again, the fish was fresh, flaky and crispy! The risotto was so flavorful!!Although we were quite satisfied, we still made room for dessert... an amazing carrot cake!!The best part of the experience, for me, was that they were able to accommodate my gluten free requests!! Our friendly Server took extra care in explaining which menu items were gluten free (there were several options... including DESSERT!!) and clearly the Chefs took extra care in preparing my meal!! I was so grateful to the entire Team for the special care and attention offered to accommodate my restrictions!It was a wonderful experience and meal!! “This place is a hidden gem. Food is always good. Service is fantastic -- K, K and A are always awesome!This is a great spot in the summer when the deck is open to have a drink or appetizer outside.I also have to give ten stars to their Winter Brunch menu -- we went here just the past weekend and it was hands down the BEST brunch we've ever had in town or when traveling. Everything was excellent -- highly recommend the frenched toast. My husband said the Bacon Egg and Cheese he had was the best ever. They are doing it all right!“
“This is a great spot to meet friends but I do miss the couches on the patio where I used to sit and read in the summer. Their drinks menu is always updated. Got the Chocolate Pecan Martini and my friend got the Sweetheart Martini which has White Chocolate liqueur, Rumchata and Grenadine for the pink color. Both were delicious. My friend ordered the Pear Salad but substituted feta for the Gorgonzola and added chicken. I got the risotto special which came with poached salmon, which I exchanged for grilled salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. I usually bring part of my entree home but the risotto was so good and the right size, so I just finished it off! If you are debating what to order, definitely go for the short rib entree - the perfect comfort food over mashed potatoes! I love the cozy couches inside and the dark lighting which gives a very intimate feel. I would love to sit at the bar or the kitchen bar sometime, but have sat in the side dining room, the main dining room and patio at various times. All great spots, although the main dining area was a little chilly by the door one visit and the hostess kindly moved us to an interior table. The lighting in the newer dining area is brighter if that matters to you.“

“If you love pickles then this place is for you as you are served a large dish of pickles before your Maine entre, the waitress was super amazing the hostess was a bit stale however the experience overall was just awesome, clean bathrooms and clean tables, Food was perfection I had the chicken with lettuce, side note I wish they gave you more napkins or a larger plate when you order a bunless meal.. my favorite is the decor ✨️... prices are very agreeable as well.. well done Plan B we will be back again.“
“I “facilitated “ a college alumni basketball game watch at The Diamond . Colleen, the manager, was was quick to return my initial phone call and was easy to communicate with in the days leading to the event. We had 12-15 in our group. The staff was great in arranging our tables and changing channels so we could see the game. Rachel, our server, was fantastic bringing food and drink promptly and keeping track of our assorted tabs. Good beer selection, food was hot and promptly delivered. We’ll be back! ?“
“Holiday offering of pork tenderloin with grilled pineapple and garlic teriyaki is a hit! Tender, flavorful. Teriyaki very strong. Keep this on the menu with maybe a choice of two or three different teriyaki sauces for those not into garlic. But I am!“

“I wanted to visit my ex coworker Zach @ J Gilberts and maybe get a Burger cuz that's what I had my only time there and its one of the best burgers I've ever had. Plus I didnt want to go too crazy. But when I got there Zach told me about the 16Oz Dry Aged Kansas City Strip Steak Special that they had. I decided to go all out cuz I wantedto see if their steaks measured up to their reputation. Zach recommended a Pinot Noir from Washington that was a perfect pairing for the steak. I gotta say the green beans that I had with a jam and crumbled pecans were insanely good with the garlic mashed potatoes. AND the steak had a nice charred exterior with a perfect juicy medium rare interior. I decided to treat myself and if you are ever thinking of doing the same go to J Gilberts and ask for Zach....you won't be disappointed....you will have one of your best restaurant experiences of your life!“
