We had been going to Red Lantern faithfully for years as it was honestly the best restaurant in the entire casino. Unfortunately our recent experience may have us trying other places in the future. Although it still has a cool vibe and good drinks, the food and service have gone downhill. Our server never checked on us after drinks and food arrived, and never once asked us if we wanted a second drink. The food didn't seem that fresh (the sushi was "ok" but more along the lines of what you might get in a grocery store that does sushi). There were several other parties sitting our section that seemed annoying by not being able to get a server or by waiting too long for things. Then we were completely done with dinner with no chance to ask for anything else or a second drink and she finally arrived to ask us what else we needed or could she bring the check? It was super rushed, and not high quality commensurate with the prices. I hope it's a temporary thing as we always enjoyed it in the past.
I routinely go to Red lantern, the food is outstanding, the service is superb and the atmosphere nothing short of majestic. If you enjoy sushi this is a go-to place. Their presentations are a work of art
I was there last evening this is what was presented to me. To be honest I don't even think twice of going to another sushi restaurant in Rhode Island Mass or Connecticut.

The chairs in the lounge area were very uncomfortable. The waitress was careless. The lo mein was cold and the chicken like rubber. The lobster rangoons were over fried. Won't be back. Oh, and it was so dark we couldn't see each other, wish we couldn't see the prices of our mediocre food.

Red lantern used to be good it’s not anymore. The service is very bad. The appetizers were not very good every other time in previous years it was pretty good and then they rushed us right after we ate and asked us if we wanted to see dessert menus that’s bad Probably not gonna go again. You should not go based on that.
Great place to eat at Foxwoods. Sushi and appetizers area really good.

Dinner was excellent. Price wasn't too bad compared to some of the other options in the casino, and the portion size was generous.

Food is decent to good with limited menu. Hot and sour soup was excellent other offerings were ok. Matre de' was obviously racist towards white people. Told us 45 min wait on thursday at 7pm as tables were empty and he seated other ethnicities while other whites sat outside endlessly ( some with families ) We sat at bar. Kinda left feeling disgusted and hurt. Won't be back.
Won a little money and spent it all on sushi but it was worth it. Great food and the server Morgan made our night
Stumbled in on a whim and no regrets! Food was amazing and you get lots of it, good large portions. Service was quick- Morgan was just the sweetest, attentive and knowledgeable

Sam S was fantastic great service very sweet and attentive food was fantastic
Went for a birthday. My adult daughter loved the endless sushi boat. The gluten free options were minimal for me. I asked about the veggies included with the fried rice and was told there were asian vegetables in it. I ordered it with chicken and basically it's just a pile of rice with peas and a couple small pcs of grilled chicken. My husband got the general tso chicken (not GF) and he said it was just okay and not very filling. I told them we had a birthday but was not told of anything special they did for that. When I went to the restroom I saw a giant dragon and asked what it was for and they said birthdays. I asked for it, paid $25 for the dragon, a sign, and the dessert, but they said they don't sing. Okay it's a good photo op, but they come over with the sign, say her name, no dragon, so I had to asked the waitress, where is the dragon. So she went and got it a few minutes later. It was underwhelming at that point. The waitress was nice and attentive, it was busy on a Thursday night. It was just okay, I wouldn't go back because I don't eat sushi and that seemed like the only thing that anyone raved about in our group of 4.
Delicious food! Great vibe! Amazing Sunday sushi boat special!!
Morgan made my experience better than what I expected. She was super polite, very patient with us, so sweet, and very welcoming. I really enjoyed talking to her. I’ll be requesting her next time I come. She made my time very pleasant.
This is my second time eating here and both times went well. I got sushi both times and it was great! Everyone else at the table had Chinese and enjoyed it.
Its a very dark but sexy type of restaurant.
I paid for the birthday parade which with tax and a tip they charge you for it comes to $94 but it came with free desert, a bottle of champagne, free rickets to Shrine below, and you get to hit a gong Infront of everyone, it was a blast!
