If you want to be disappointed... Then come here.. the food is terrible. I ordered the taquitos they were so greasy and disgusting it was terrible no flavor soaked in oil. And then I ordered the tacos, I had asked the waitress are they soft or hard tacos, she said they're soft... They showed up they were soaked in grease... Disgusting... One bite... All set. You can go to any food truck in any City that serves Mexican food and it's exponentially better than the garbage they put out.
Just as a follow-up I was there yesterday around 5:30 Friday. I would say there was maybe six people in the whole place. I remember thinking why is it so dead in here you walk through the casino and it's packed all of the other restaurants and bars have people and yet this one it was like a ghost town. The answer is the food's terrible.
Not good service. No direction everyone just behind bar not really helping anyone. Didn’t understand what they were going for no vibe at all
Came here for dinner one evening and it was very good. We started off with the chips and salsa, which they charge you for, and they were good. We were hungry, but those should be on the house.
My Shimp fajita was excellent and she had a chicken rice bowl that she enjoyed.
Our server, Isabella, was good through our visit and we would dine here again in the future.
This place is not busy like it used to be. $16 for a drink where the Bartender doesn't pour more alcohol for more than one second. Rather go to the other bars nearby.
Scorpion used to be a fun spot , now no people and watered down drinks .. draft kings , sugar factory .. all better options
Our server was great very attentive, the decor could use a dusting but looks cool. The food was not good. The chips for the nachos were stale and the chicken and veggie fajitas tasted like they were microwaved in a bag and thrown on a hot plate. Not a fan!! Was hoping for better food.
Like most restaurants at Foxwoods, the food and drinks are overpriced and just okay on quality. We were seated under a bright spinning red light, near a huge TV - not a great ambiance
Service was great, place was very cool (but SO dark), food was good. Chicken tacos (a little boring), carne asada tacos (a little chewy, but tasty), beef empanadas (delicious). Too dark to see anything or even see the food. 🥴
Saturday, March 22. 1 hour wait to get in, which was ok. 15 minutes to order, another 15 to get drinks, another hour to get appetizers... no followup from waitress. Waited another 30 plus minutes for food and then waited again for bill. They added an extra drink to tab ($16). Love their food but service was miserable. Even is she had checked in on us, too busy not working.
I really tried to like this restaurant. Years ago I went several times and the service was so poor that I vowed to never dine there again.
We were at Foxwoods tonight and I Really wanted nachos. I figured that sitting at the bar would get our food faster. We did not order alcohol. My husband ordered a ginger ale and I drank water. Once the bartender got our order . She disappeared and only came back for possible drink orders. We said no we are fine. Nachos and tacos came. My husband said they were really dry. Nachos were fair. Not a lot of cheese mostly chips and lettuce. No salsa or sour cram or gauc. Not my idea of nachos.
Anyhow service still was poor and food, ehhh. You can find much better else where.

We stopped into Scorpion Bar right when they opened for the day, and the experience was solid from the start. The service was prompt and attentive, with staff ready to seat and serve without delay — a nice surprise for a casino spot that can get hectic later in the day.
I had the enchiladas with rice and beans, and everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The enchiladas had a nice balance of richness and spice without being too heavy, and the rice and beans were cooked just right — not bland, not overly salty, just solid.
The space itself has that edgy, upscale cantina vibe Scorpion Bar is known for, but going early meant it was quiet and relaxed, which gave us a chance to actually enjoy the atmosphere.
Overall, it was a smooth experience. If you’re at Foxwoods and want something satisfying without the chaos, hitting Scorpion Bar early is the move. I’d definitely go back.
Scorpion bar is exactly as described! Its a nice chill spot with a great ambience to get drinks & some Mexican eatery. It is not the most authentic but it certainly satisfied for the evening. We got the taquitos & empanadas to start which were decent. I enjoyed the taquitos more. Followed by braised beef birria quesadilla which was decent as well. I had leftovers the next day and they were pretty good! We ended with the fried ice cream which was a huge portion! All this was washed down with their margaritas which were delicious.
Went to nightclub and one of the bartenders was stuck up and just plain ol rude.Drinks were basic with little to no alcohol or good taste!
Omg what can I say about this place
Hat goes of to the waitress Zekeya who did her thing very friendly very nice and her service was very great I would only come back for her because she is so down to earth and should be promoted for how she brings life to the customers.
But this food omg the food is trash very. the menu was so bad to me and my wife we only ordered appetizers because the menu was not looking appealing. They could not get that right normally the appetizers be so good you take the main dish home but damn. The Mexican corn trash. The wings was ok but don’t don’t get the nachos at all. They don’t put no love to it at all. It might be a cultural difference when comes to taste but it’s bad. For it to be a some what Mexican type restaurant they are doing very very bad. I rather eat at D&D for dinner
First off, the tables are not cleaned in between patrons (it was sticky and covered in crumbs). Secondly it is so dark in the restaurant even during day hours that you can hardly see your food or menu. Thirdly they were out of ginger ale which is unacceptable. The final straw was that when someone in our party ordered fajitas they asked for a small side of sour cream. This is a very normal request to go with fajitas. We found out when we got the check that we were CHARGED for the sour cream. One whole dollar for a small side of sour cream is outrageous especially at a Mexican restaurant. Absolutely outrageous and we will never be back.
