My wife ordered the classic tacos, they were sooooo bland. I've had tacos at public school that were better! They forgot my order of nachos and beer. The salsa that came with chips tasted like stewed tomatoes (sweet) with a little bit of onion. They finally brought the nachos, but I didn't get the beer untill asking again and halfway through my nachos. I will say that their nachos with added chicken were actually good! Don't recommend!
Food and drinks are really good. Nice environment. I will say service was slow and they forgot to give us utensils at first. But it was a super busy Saturday night so will cut them some slack!

I spend 3 nights at Foxwoods. I decided to go for dinner at scorpion bar, this was my second time eating there. I know the food and drinks were not too bad. Everything was going well, until that busboy came spraying around me like that’s spray is invisible. So rude and unprofessional. It was 3hrs before closing time. He couldn’t wait for me to finish, for him to clean the bar. He should get removed before he spray someone’s food. And he might not be lucky next time. Someone will put him in his place. I was there to have a good time, I was not gonna let the devil ruin my day. I mentioned it to the waitress, she was very understanding and polite. She mentioned it to the manager. The waitress came back stated that the manager giving me a discount for my nachos. I told the waitress it was not about getting a discount nor getting a free dish. It was being professional in that restaurant. The restaurant supposed to be a top restaurant. I guess the manager didn’t talk to him because he came around me cleaning left and right but this time with his towel smh. He pick the right time, it was my last night and I was not going to let him ruin it. I ignored him continue to eat my food. The waitress asked me if I wanted to get a different plate of nachos. I told her no because I was being cautious, the busboy was the one who brought the nachos to me the first time. Anyway keep it up busboy you will meet your match. As for the manager thank you for your understanding however, he came back cleaning around me like it supposed to means something. Like I say it wasn’t last night I was there to have a good time not to let the devil win.

Had a wonderful dinner with family here! Excellent service, great non
-alcoholic cocktails, and the food was excellent. Also we didn't have to wait forever to eat, the food came really quickly- it wasn't incredibly busy, but I've been to restaurants where that didn't matter it still took forever.
It's a little dark inside but that's the ambience...
Just really enjoyed my visit here.

The nachos were burnt with hardly any cheese. The steak was dry and tough. The server took forever.

We drove over an hour to try this restaurant and left disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, with no complimentary chips, salsa, or bread like we’ve experienced at other authentic Mexican restaurants. Pretty bad when the best-tasting part of the meal were the salsa and chips we had to pay extra for. Our group was fairly large, and everyone felt the same—it just wasn’t great. The staff we interacted with didn’t seem very attentive, portions were small, and the food lacked flavor. That’s just my personal experience, but I probably should have expected better than a casino dinner.

Too dark to even see food and music too loud to have a conversation. Food was subpar for Mexican.

Restaurant Review – A Disappointing Return Visit
I had fond memories of this restaurant from past visits, so I was looking forward to bringing friends here for dinner. Unfortunately, our recent experience fell short in several ways.
From the start, service was unusually slow. We waited over an hour for our food, checking twice — first with our waitress, who assured us it was “coming,” and then with the manager, who mentioned that groups had arrived at once, making it hard on the waitress, and that he would “go put the order in now.” This made us suspect our order may not have been entered initially. By the time the food arrived, I was ready to leave. For this wait, the manager offered a 10% discount. Still not worth it as the food wasn’t tasty.
My entrée, the Scorpion Classic Taco Dinner (three soft tacos, red rice, and black beans, LISTED at $16), was underwhelming. The tacos, rice, and beans were all bland, with the tacos and rice arriving cold. The chicken in the tacos tasted like pre-cooked meat that had been defrosted — cubed, watery, and lacking seasoning.
I was surprised to find a $6 upcharge for chicken, which wasn’t clearly indicated on the menu. The waitress explained that the base tacos would otherwise be “just lettuce and tomato,” which makes the $16 menu price confusing.
While my friends didn’t detail their own complaints, they also said their food wasn’t good. It felt like a combination of issues — a likely forgotten order, food that seemed pre-prepared rather than fresh, an unclear menu, and an overwhelmed staff.
I had chosen this restaurant based on how much I’d enjoyed it in the past, but sadly, this visit has changed my mind. I won’t be returning, and I hope management can address these service, communication, and quality concerns so future guests have a better experience.

My wife and I arrived at the Scorpion in Foxwoods Casino on August 2nd, 2025 between 6:45pm-6:50pm, and were seated by 7pm in the booth section . Upon being seated we realized that servers were walking around pouring water for guests and we had not received any water. When our waiter came over she asked if we wanted any drinks and food, so we ordered the following at around 7:10pm.
1 order of tostones
1 order of street corn
1 rice bowl w/steak
1 quinoa bowl w/steak
1 braised beef taco
We also ordered two drinks with our server, and they were brought out promptly, and after I finished my drink our server came over to ask me if I wanted another drink (shout out to her). After our server brought us drinks, a Caucasian family of six came in and ordered both appetizers and entrees. At 7:36pm we noticed our food had not come out yet and saw the party of 6 and other parties being served their entrees before us. At this point we did not receive one food item. Our waiter came over and stated that she checked in with the kitchen and the food will be coming out shortly.
At 7:40 our waitress came back over and explained how the kitchen staff was still working on our order and that our appetizers of street corn and Tostones should be about another couple of minutes.
At 7:45pm we were frustrated because we did not receive one food item, and felt discriminated against. When the server came back and stated the kitchen was willing to pay for our appetizers we disagreed and denied any further service. We stated that the kitchen can pay for the drinks and they agreed so we left the restaurant. We expressed our frustrations to the server and although we appreciate her support in the matter our overall experience with the restaurant was terrible.
As someone who services people on a day to day basis I understand “things” happen which may cause delays but, this wasn't the exception. We sat for more than 40 minutes without any food, and watched multiple parties arrive after us, eating both their appetizers & entrees. Although our server supported us through this time once again to shout out to her, we are disgusted with the service at the restaurant as a whole.
We were looking forward to eating at Scorpion in Foxwoods because we had been celebrating our one year wedding anniversary but, this experience felt like a punch to the gut. We do travel to foxwoods casino often and will not be returning to the establishment.
Bartenders and staff are very polite . It was our first time here, and the place was great. The drinks were well made, and the price was unbeatable
Said they stop serving food at 9:30 I came at 9 and kitchen was closed.

Really fun time on weekend night! Bartender was fun and the DJ played great music. We paid the cover abs didn’t expect to stay long and ended up being there for a few hours since the vibe was a lot of fun and much better than DK across the way.
