Local gem. Love AJs. Order from here regularly and they got us through the pandemic. Good, quality food, fair prices which is rare these days. Outdid themselves tonight when door dash forgot half our order. AJs staff drove to our house personally to drop it off. What other restaurant would do that? We love this place.

So I ordered here for the first time after being told this is the place ?. First time getting food in Meriden. Lady answered the phone had to repeat my order like ten times due to her not being able to hear at all . So anyways I get my food for pick up and I get to my job, sit down and open it and this is what ya get. ??. Like how hard is it for a three piece hard fried wing and waffle with blue cheese .
Lobster butter for the chewed waffle ? followed by being the wrong order ? and the food to the touch was ice cold. Yeah I'm really Gucci on this straight up avoid ?

I was told by my Tattoo artist that AJs has really good wings so I decided to give them a try. I have always ordered through DoorDash so I can't speak about service or atmosphere. I have ordered breakfast items (French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Egg Sandwich, sausages and homefries with onions) as well as Buffalo wings, chicken nachos, fries, soup & chili. I can honestly say that 95% of the time the food is always made well and is delicious. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't, they are one of the better places to eat in Meriden.

Normally the food is great (we get it delivered). Breakfast, amazing wings, always hot and quality food. But their burgers are frozen, have an odd texture, and have what I believe is some sort of filler in them. Also the food was not even lukewarm this time, so the fries were limp and soggy.
