Had the most horrible experience tonight. My husband’s meal didn’t arrive until after I was done with mine. His food was cold and his side of pasta wasn’t delivered until we asked for it to go as he had finished his meal. The waitress was apologetic but there was no excuse for such poor service. If they didn’t have enough help for the dining area and the party in the back room, they should have closed the dining area. This used to be a good place to eat.

We love this place and go every few weeks. But I do NOT recommend it for valentine's day. The hostess is a harriden enforcing rules and ensuring everyone knows if you were too stupid to make a reservation. The servers are clearly the B team or the junior varsity. You are limited to a 30 percent marked up valentine's day menu and no pizza is served in the dining room. It is all enforced by the harridan and the regular head waitress is off. The carryout meals were normal, but who wants their steak dying while they eat their salad. I came for my birthday for steak pizza Iowa. I had to settle for a half sized blue filet mignon that was still cold in the center with a mustard sauce with no mustard, mixed vegies that were mostly nasty carrots, and a really good baked potato that was cold by the time my steak was warmed up. You guys are awesome. Stick to your real menu, and stop marking things up 30% for holidays. It wasn't just valentine's day, it was a regular customer's birthday, you screwed it up. I'm passed.

The service here was excellent, and the waitress was so attentive. As soon as we sat down, The waitress brought a sample (two slices) of loaded baked potato pizza. I’ve never heard of that before, but it was decent and had a unique taste. Then the waitress proceeded to give us dinner rolls, and our pasta dishes came with the side salad. The food was very good, and the portions were huge. However, for the chicken parm meal, I found that they put way too much red sauce on both the pasta dish, and the chicken parm dish, which was very overpowering. I felt like this took away from the dish, and it would have tasted a lot better without as much sauce. Overall, the food here was really good and the service was fantastic!

Terrible all around experience with a party. Idk if it's like that when one dines alone, but I'd recommend to stay away from going here for a Saturday group dinner. They forgot I was there, it happens. Then I wait 2 hours and 30 minutes, no joke! For a small portion of stuffed shrimp!! Costed 50$, fifty dollars, for that!!! I Went home to eat after I got out cause I was so disappointed and dissatisfied!Yet, There was however one young gentleman that was so nice, I had to give the service an extra star. He's easily worth more than 5 stars, but I have to keep honest to my overall experience. PLEASE, Don't ever lose kind workers like him! He knows who he is when I say, A woman at the end of the table gave him a real nice extra tip and he was glad to receive so much appreciation from various people of our party table. He even brought coffee again and with extra milks and made sure that whoever had needs for anything were taken care of.You never once gave an attitude, you remained kind and served us like a true professional! Shout outs to you man, your kindness will take you higher than you know, keep it up and you'll see in due time. If I ever come back, I'll come back to see you and tip you man. Keep your head up, peace.

How have I not reviewed this place?! My husband and I added this place to our Friday night dinner rotation a couple years ago, and it is one of our favorites. Here's the thing - the food is tasty, but not spectacular. What brings us back time after time is the friendly staff and the garlic dipping oil. I'm not exaggerating when I say this oil is drool-worthy. I have to restrain myself from drinking it with a spoon. This is also one of the few places still serving a proper house salad with dinners - a small thing but it really enhances the meal. The fried mozz is among the best we've had (and we are fried mozz experts). We have tried the pizza - it's good! I always enjoy the chicken marsala, husband's fav is the penne arrabbiata. All in all this is a no frills, old school family Italian spot with warm staff and good food.

We are very fortunate to live local to this neighborhood restaurant. Despite being super busy, they were well staffed with waitresses and bus staff who were very attentive. Our meal took a bit longer than normal, but was worth the wait. I ordered the baked stuffed shrimp and my husband had the chicken scarpariello. Both were outstanding! They offered many drinks specials, and I took advantage of the pumpkin martini. It was wonderful! You'll need to remind yourself not to fill up on the yummy garlic oil and homemade bread and salad that are included with your meal. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and clean.
