We used to come here all the time for a great meal. But the place has really gone downhill. They never seem to have anything available and the side items aren't fresh, like the rice I ordered, which tasted like it was sitting there for a while. My son couldn't even finish the Mac and cheese... he used to finish all of it in one sitting. And don't expect any fountain soda, that machine is broken. The chicken sandwich and bowl that my wife had were fine, just don't expect a lot of other options when you get there.

Had a very bad experience. They were out of many selections. (Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets, and no drinks) vegetables were not even edible, ribs were cold, macaroni and cheese, and sweet potatoes casserole was liquity.

This particular location ( Meriden ) actually appears to be closed- the exterior & grounds are grossly neglected - weeds that are now in the category of bushes! The wait staff was wonderful, but it was very clear that they're not appreciated in the least. No mashed potatoes , no ice, warm soda... It made us have serious doubts about the quality of the food that is being served. Whoever manages this location should be dismissed immediately. Poor, poor management & obviously corporate just doesn't care at all. Absolutely shameful.

Did an online order, food never was delivered, drove to store and they were closed. Finally got ahold of someone 2 days later who said to come in and they would fulfill the order only to arrive and be told we don’t have mashed potatoes or CHICKEN!!! Still waiting for them to refund account.

I don't give one star often.This location is filthy and outdated. The staff is not the kindest and probably rather lazy. Let's face it... Every time I come here they are out of something. How do you not have lettuce to make salads? Wendy's down the road has its not like there is a supply chain issue. So someone either didn't order it, you have it and you didn't chop it or the facility doesn't have enough cash on hand to order product.If the last one is the case, close down! Either way someone isn't doing their job. There are signs on products that they won't be making that day. The beverage area hasn't been maintained in years, always messy always sticky. Sometimes 20; minutes after opening which means it didn't get cleaned the night before. The health department would be fascinated to see that. They are always out of drink brands and occasionally don't have drink lids. I once brought a travel cup in to fill because they had no cups and lids.When everything is available the food is ok. But I suspect the Boston Market hierarchy doesn't even know about this facility and probably should.

A cry for help. This visit left us pining for better days of the past at this location. As always, the people are great. They strive to make sure you have 100% of their attention as they take care of you. But the facility is rapidly declining in physical appearance, which lessens the impact of the staff's efforts at hospitality. There is a raised section of flooring in what was the wait line, creating a potential trip hazard for guests. The dining room has not reopened since COVID. Lights were not even in the front save for the ones immediately over the counter. Our orders were taken out, even though we were hoping for a nice dine in experience. When we got home, the 1/4 Chicken was good as expected, although portions now seem smaller than in the past. I had the Cod special. Rule of thumb: don't get seafood at a chicken place. It was terribly overdone. If I had not smothered it in the overly sweet sweet potato "sauce," it would have been completely inedible, which portions of it actually were. I couldn't cut it with a knife and fork. The packaging was ingredient based, as they staff explained they were having sever supply chain issues. If it wasn't for the generous coupon, we likely would have gone elsewhere. Praise for the staff, dunning for the food quality, and sorrow for the location. Overall, it was a sad statement of the state of this location, and yes, a cry for help from the Meriden Boston Market. ?

I haven't been to a Boston Market in 6-9 months. Being pregnant gives you many cravings and tonight was for some good rotisserie chicken, sweet potatoes and creamed spinach. Well unfortunately I was told that the cream of spinach hasn't been at this location for months now. I was able to get the scrapings of the sweet potatoes and had to settle for the bland corn. I will return but no time soon. Not 100% satisfied but me and baby had to eat considering the time of night it was.

mediocre at best. 1/2 chicken tastes weird. none of this food seems prepared today. potatoes were gluey, gravy was solid goop. corn bread was stale and small. mac and cheese was not an option.i had my order delivered and it was incomplete.this was a poor choice.

This location should be shut down. From rude staff to very dirty restaurants. If you want gross food and being charged what they choose then what is posted feel free to visit this nasty place.Dietary restrictions: They don’t evening allow you to pick sides. I don’t eat meet so I was asking if I could do a side sampler and was told no. Then asking to change the side for our son cause he won’t eat their stuffing and add corn. No that was refused. This place is down right discriminating with people with different food allergies. Sorry but this needs to be address now.
