Unfortunately, the alcapurrias de guineos did not have any salt, no flavor. The acapurrias de yuca either. Not sure why, they must of forgotten to add it to the maza. The bacalaitos were good. The sancocho was ok. The tostones de pana were good, pero the tonstones de de platoons were bad , too small, never seen such small tostones. The empanadillas were not good. Do not recommend.

First time here, not impressed. When we entered, there was a woman and a gentleman sitting at the table in the front. No greeting until I said hello to the woman the man just walked up and went to the back come to find out these are the owners or workers. I got tostones and carne Frita asked for a large when I came home there were “5” in there for a large and a rather small amount of fried pork. The beef empanadillas were greasy and flavorless , the bacalito was hard, dry and had no flavor. The alcapurra de yuca was okay. The sancoche my mother did enjoy , $55 later a disappointment. Would not recommend.

I stopped in for empanadas and tostones. There was a language barrier, but the employee who waited on me asked someone else for help. I was pleased with the food for the price.

Excellent food and service. Food was fresh and delicious. It's a quick "grab and to" restaurant. Whenever I'm in Meriden, I will be stopping by.

Upon entering food looks great in apperance but upon eating food I feel food needs more seasoning very bland in taste for being Latino food

Not pleased. The bacalaoito(however you spell it) not good. Too dry and too crispy. The shrimp empanadas(pastelillos)<--did I spell that right? The shrimp too dry. Needed some sauce in that bad boy. Wanted to like them, but that's a negative from me.
