Well I ordered a pizza and a chicken Caesar salad Pizza was just ok... Not really great The chicken on the salad was rock hard. It most definitely was refrigerated after being cooked and microwaved to be reheated or re cooked. It was completely not edible! Disappointed, we used to get great food from here. Hoping it was a really really off day or something. Salad went right in the trash. I felt bad because the girl taking the orders it's not her fault. But come on guys !

Ordered on line. Showed up 25 minutes later and the order was not ready. Staff was in the dining area watching a soccer game. Even when my food was ready it sat on top of the oven in the box. Apparently the soccer game was more important than taking care of a customer. Will not be going there again.

Pizza and subs are delicious. The fish was gross though. Just large fish sticks honestly.
I stopped going here for a while when my order was messed up. I understand these things happen. However, the hostess/receptionist tried to say the order was messed up because of miscommunication on my part! I reminded her that I had to restate my order 3 times because she kept leaving our conversation when placing the order because the other phone was ringing or talking to the kitchen. I ended up moving my dollars to Belle Luna and have since returned to Empire, but now split my business between the two restaurants.

ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza. it took 20 minutes for them to heat 2 slices. Definitely not the same owners. Total disappointment! Won't go there again!

Lady in the front so rude had me on hold for 10mins straight then then driver was trying to give me food to other ppl couldn’t find my house! Will never go there again!
I have a horrible medical treatment every week and the only positive is my Sausage and Meatball Grinder.And this evening I made an order for a pizza and they made an error on it and I called and let them know and they immediately remade it and delivered it.They’re probably the best place in Meriden! Go!!!(And what really makes me happy is that when I pick up my orders during the weekdays during lunch time they always have on old episodes of SAVED BY THE BELL! LOL

I was in a pinch because the original restaurant I was ordering from was a nightmare. I needed to order party pizzas for 60 guests the afternoon before the party. I had called a few other places before Empire and no one was able to accommodate my requests (party pizzas and delivery).I called Empire and had no issues at all being able to order 6 party pizzas and 3 trays of wings on such short notice. The delivery arrived right on time and the driver even put the pizzas out on the table for us. Everything was hot and delicious! Many guests kept asking where we ordered from. I definitely recommend this pizza restaurant!

I was on a road trip and stopped in for lunch. The service was quick and staff friendly. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had! The dough was the thing. Did not scrimp on the toppings either.
