First time at Huxley Bookmark Restaurant. I have a friend that comes here on a regular basis. I pulled in the parking lot (which was almost full). I tried to park multiple times and realized the spaces are undersized. I had to park on an angle,hold my breath an hope I could get out of my car. One of the best home fries I’ve had in a long time. They are sliced, not chunky pieces so it was flavorful all around. The French fries needed a little more cooking time, weren’t as crispy as I would have liked. The ham, avocado, and egg burrito was delicious!
Had breakfast there with a friend while down helping him sell his beef jerky at the Durham state fair. I had the French toast with scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and bacon. It was very good! The waitress was very friendly and attentive! I can see why my buddy calls that one of his regular breakfast places!
