We stopped at Ilianos because the other place we had planned to dine at was closed for some reason. They gave us complimentary pizza slices to try, bread with our meals, and the portions were huge, enough to have dinner the next day! The food was all good as well and the server was very nice!

Daryl what are you doing. Grandma's pizza awesome. A regular cheese pizza not even a good bar pie. Your better than this. My pizza was paper thin and tasted like it was pre frozen. Hardly any sauce. If I want frozen I'll go to the grocery store. Sorry but you are better than this..

I ordered two pizzas, one with cheese and one with onion and bacon. The second one mentioned not did it even have a ticineta flavor, and it also had little onion. I don't know why that happened, they usually prepare them well, perhaps the person in charge of making the pizzas was not well trained. I hope the person in charge, can analyze this comment.

I so badly wanted to give 5 stars. I haven’t been here in years. I was in the neighborhood and was looking forward to my lunch. The customer service was great as always! I ordered a meatball grinder but wanted American cheese. I know, it’s silly. But stretchy cheese doesn’t go down well with me. I like the smooth, creamy texture of American cheese. Now, I am half to blame because I didn’t check before I left to make sure it was correct. They put provolone ?. It didn’t ruin my day and I will learn from my mistake in the future. I love the free pizza sample they give you. It’s a great place and everyone makes mistakes. Will definitely go back.

delivery last night 2/10/24 The pizza was terrible,very dry and no taste,sausage mushroom and pepperoni worst one I ever had.Here's the kicker when they first opened they where charging 5.00 for delivery to me that was the biggest rip off in ct. plus we always give 3.00 tip.Last night I went into shock when I checked the bill 7.00 for delivery that's right 7.00 plus 3.00 tip.I can't believe these people are still open. We have ordered the Grandma Pizza from here several times so this time we were really disappointed in what we received. The pizza usually comes in their square crust and is thick. This time for some reason, they made it on a round pie. The crust was thin and all the sauce and cheese was off, it looks like the crust wasn't able to support it. I don't know why they suddenly changed their Grandma Pizza when it was so good before.

Meriden doesn’t have “Great” pizza. I hate to say it as a native. If you want “Great” pizza you have to go to New Haven or maybe even Norwalk.I ordered:Grandma PizzaAn old fashion style square pan pizza with a medium thick crust. Sliced mozzarella is placed on the dough first, then topped with marinara sauce, garlic and oil, seasoning, basil, and parmigiana cheese.The pizza here isn’t bad. I should have tried a traditional cheese slice. The flavor was there but not enough cheese. I love the prominent garlic.The poor waitress was also the front desk person and couldn’t balance and juggle all the customers/orders.I’ll be back and hope to change the rating upon that visit.(I took it home added more cheese and that improved it. However the cheese was suppose to be at the bottom so I ruined it on a sense)* this is not Sicilian

I work at a hospital. Every day we are at this location we order an hour and a half earlier (literally) than our lunch hour. We have to travel to different offices during our lunch break. This delivery is ALWAYS later than the time THEY say it’ll be delivered. We have to wait around at the office for the delivery of the order we put in 1.5 hours ago, clocked out, and cut our lunch short. They NEVER deliver on time and the hospital is down the street from them so I have no idea why it takes over and hour and a half to get food. I have to call every time we order to see where the heck they are. Our doctors, PA’s and staff have to take a shorter lunch because they never come when they say they’re coming. It’s ridiculous.Adding: the food (that was ordered at 10:30) was finally delivered at 12:10, after all of our lunch break was over. And when you call and tell them this is ridiculous and frustrating, they just sorry you to death. I asked them to call the driver twice in an 20 minute time span to see what’s going on and they told me “well he left the restaurant so he’ll be there soon!” And when talking to the delivery driving when he finally showed up he says “I’m just the driver.”So anyway, unless you have 2 hours to wait around for the food, don’t order for delivery. Food is not that good to be such a hassle.
